Hi! I get to start recording sound effects for my game soon. It'd probably be a bit more exciting if I was going around recording real sounds instead of using the sound effects bank on my piano, but I gotta make use of what I have.

Heso! Gar, I have seen that page before, but the pink pages of the SugarWiki hurt my brain... besides, you're talking to a future English major. It's not a matter of my life so much as my vocabulary that's been ruined. Because I'm not sure I've uttered a sentence lately that couldn't be considered Conversational Troping, like when I tried comparing the people in my health class to a Five Man Band to see who fit which role (I think I'm The Hero, but I'm also Nerdy enough to count as The Smart Guy...) and got many a blank stare from the crew. I'm just lucky I haven't actually used one in a paper for English class yet, but it's bound to happen...
"Irregardless" and "Over exaggerated" are NEVER CORRECT EVER because they are redundant
Regardless means "without regard", and adding "ir" on the front actually makes it a double negative; exaggerate means "to overstate" so you're literally saying "over overstate."
Example: I can not exaggerate the importance of this fact enough, regardless of how often people ignore it.

Curse you, The Tetris Effect! I was stuck in it all afternoon thanks to you Silver. I think I'll have my internet browser block the site so I don't do that again. But I did find AutoPager thanks to that.
New semester. Finally no more AP Latin and AP Literature (sorry Silver, I'll never be an English major (Stevenson says it's for the best)), now I have the easy classes, Calc III and AP Prob and Stat. *sandwich'd* *brick'd*

Unfortunately the Wii is in a room where the TV is pretty much always on so it's hard to get on the Wii without disturbing otheres, the wii is also shared with 5 other people (count them, 5!) and three of them are so quick to whine "no faaair" in annoying younger sibling voices if you play when it's not "your turn" or if you go even one millisecond over 1hr at a time.

So it would be cool to play, but timing would be the only issue.

But at least I have the game now^^ wooooot

If you two are Roman Catholic, then TV Tropes is a perfect thing to give up for Lent.

Heso! I wish it were that simple, Gar. But you see, I'm not Roman Catholic... and besides that, I've already decided to give up Lent for Lent.

I'd like to curse Silver and Gar there too, Poik. TVTropes links truly are evil...

I'm trying to get back into writing so I have a challenge for myself to write this story that's been in my head for like 5 years and I haven't been able to get around to writing it. (Whenever I do I lose interest, get writer's block or the hard drive of the computer gets fried or something like that v.v)

So I set myself a minimum of 2,000 words a day to write before I can log onto MSN (my addiction needs to be controlled) and I've only done about 600 today so far. I wanted to quickly check the forum for some information on something I got distracted with and read the posts with TV Tropes links...

I click links...

Now, it's abut 2 hours later and I STILL only hav about 600 words and now I'm trying to download a movie to watch called "Jesus Christ, Vampire Hunter". I also have the song "Turning Japanese" stuck in my head. Thanks guys [/sarcasm]

However I did find a funny youtube clip from Good News Week where everyone sings the Vegemite song^^ so all is not lost. Man I love that show... havn't seen it for ages though. *Gasp!* Why am I wasting all my typing here!? BACK TO THE STORY ASTRAL!

Oh, and yes Cheez.. Fwee

I never EVER thought I'd see the day when I would be willingly saying this, but calculus is one of my favourite classes right now! I had a test on thursday, and the teacher (really nice guy, jokes around with the class, but gives intense amounts of homework) gave us a practice test to take home on tuesday. I finished it with a bit of difficulty, but used it as a study guide for the actual homework. So I get to class on thursday, and the teacher smiles at everyone and asks how many people actually did the practice test. Only about half the class raised their hands. So he says "Well, those of you who did the practice test are about to feel really smart. For the rest of you, good luck!" The test was almost exactly the same as the practice test! Same format, same questions, even the same order! He changed a few numbers here and there, but I definitely felt smart when I handed that test in! ;-D

Hi! I can't think of a whole lot to say right now, other than that my number of things to work on this week suddenly went from almost nothing to a whole bunch of stuff. Fortunately, I get paid for some of that stuff, so that's nice since I'm completely out of spending money at the moment and there's several games I want (not that I have time to play them), another DVD sale on Right Stuf (darn you Right Stuf and your very hard to resist sales!), and I've been wanting to get a Japanese iTunes card...

Heso! Um... sorry for ruining your life, Astral... Ok, new rule to be enforced as of today: only links to the Laconic Wikiare to be accepted. All others are clearly very dangerous.

And now I throw my head back and laugh as you inevitably go through each of the 459 entries to the Laconic Wiki.

*mumbles angrily under her breath*

Hey.

I'm back.

First two games of the tounament, we tied. The first game we played against the U14A Vipers, which is a select ice hockey team. A girl on that team was on my team last year, but I really don't like her very much (most kids on the team hate her, and she really is a jerk). My team and the Vipers are kinda totally rivals, and have been for some time. So, we tied 1 to 1. We then played the Polar Bears, who were favored to win the whole tournament. Tied them 1 to 1. We then played the Seacoast Lightning. Their goalie used to also be on our team a few years back, but she switched to Seacost 'cos it's closer to where she actually lives. If our goalie couldn't make a game and we couldn't get one of the younger goalies to play up, we'd go get her (the goalie from Seacoast). It was really weird to play against her, 'cos when we were on the same team we were really close friends. Had a secret handshake and everything. They beat us 3 to 0. Unfortunately for us, they scored one goal each period. This tournament had weird rules. You got one point for winning a period, .5 points for tieing a period and 0 for losing one. 2 points for winning a game, 1 for a tie and 0 for a loss. So, they got all 5 points, and we got zip (we got 2.5 each for the previous games). That really hurt our score. We ended up placing 5th, so we had to play a consolation game (it was a weird tournament) against the 6th place.

Geh....I really don't want to talk about that. I really hate to say it, but the reffs were so friggin' biased. I hate to blame stuff on the reffs, but this is probably one of the worst reffed games I've been to. I got a friggin' call for body-checking. It's hard to explain in words, but there was no way on earth I body checked that girl. I don't think I even touched her, only her stick. When I told my dad, he was like "THAT'S what you got called for?!" He had been confused at the pealty as well, and had thought it might have been tripping, or something. Our goalie also got called for slashing. W....T....F.....

I was so friggin' pissed by the end of the game. We lost 4 to 1, and at least two of the goals were during a powerplay against us due to CERTAIN refs calling CERTAIN stupid penalties. I'd write a longer rant, but I really need to get back to my homework.

*goes back to mumbling angrily/doing homework*

dang Saber, all that anger could give birth to a kitoros.

Since I just know people will wonder what that is, a kitoros is a manifestation of a high concentration of a certain emotion, like anger. They then feed on the emotion that spawned them from everyone, not just the person who created them, or the Kitoros originator.

Yeah, I got bored and I was in a bad mood, when I invented them a couple of years ago.
This is my RP Forum, Tales of Symphonia Adventures, or ToSA for short. Please take a look?

So, when Poik is around angry people, he turns into a corporal kitoros?

*sigh* and this link comes to me AFTER I've already stayed up till 2am reading TV Tropes.

And then I had some really REALLY REEEEALLY weird dreams about President Obama's 3 sons (who were white) having swimming lessons and I wasn't allowed to have a delicious sweet bun from Woolworths and being attacked by a rabid dog.

Could such 'wtf'ness be the fault of all the tropes? You decide.
