That's an interesting mash-up. Considering I avoided the Aussie day, I think I'm stuck mysteriously ranting. Ah well, at least it requires less long monologueing. This spellchecker doesn't accept monologueing. But what does that really matter, the important thing is this week is drawing to a close and I bet Silver is winning.
Monologueing should be a word. Verbing nouns is fun. Fun is contagious. Contagious viruses are evil. Evil is "Every Villian Is Lemons." These universal truths hold the universe together. Without them there would be nothing. Is it possible to alter these laws and recreate the universe in my favor? That sounds like an evil plot I should get start on right now...

To try and prevent people from complaining about it all day tomorrow and wasting all my precious time, I figured I should probably mention that, for dark secret reasons that you have no need to know of, winners won't be announced until sometime on Monday. When? I'm not telling. Though tomorrow I most post scores for the first couple of days, maybe. Not go away and stop bothering me!

Well, its about 5:00 here. Why wasn't I posting? Well, I'm not going to tell you. Well, its confidential and/or classified, even though they practically mean the same thing. So what?! Even so, you probably want to know, don't you? You guys are all so NOSY!! So I wasn't at the computer! Back off! Leave me to my plot-HOMEWORK! I meant homework! Leave me to my homework!

Crikey! It comes down to today?

Oh, bugger! I've been making a huge mistake then! I never found time to get on the computer for the day, and when ah did ah was busy workin' on other stuff. An' I might just have blown it!

Well, then again, ah may not even be in the runnin'! Who knows? It seemed like a pretty close race to me, but that's just the opinion of one sheila.

Dear, ah really do hope ah place. Even after what ah said at the beginning, about not tryin' to get caught up in it an' all, ah really did get into the whole thing. It'd be simply awful to have all of my hard work go unrecognized. But, other people seemed to work quite hard. Oh dear, how will it end...?

Now what would have been a more ridiculous ending is a point per style used right in a post.That would've been interesting as well, but this is a bit harder isn't it? You just want it to be a pain don't you! Meh, who really cares. In the grand scheme of things, our actions here probably matter nothing. Then again, that doesn't account for the butterfly effect. What if every word we type is rippling out into the world, influencing wars, chipping down gov'ts! We're the cause of WWIII? Wait, what?

And the Week of Randomness is over! Great job everyone, I hope you had fun. I've still got some posts to score so winners won't be announced till sometime tomorrow. In the meantime, here's the winners of the first three days (with a bit of commentary). Just to explain how the system works... Each day in the Week of Randomness, 10 points are given out. Five to first place, three to second, and two to third. Who wins first, second, and third is based on how well the day's theme was followed, number of posts, and the like (which are pretty much used to come up with a different set of points, not shown here, to determin the winners of each day).

And, so you know, the scores of the first three days don't give you a very good idea of who is going to win. I've judged through Friday so far and I still don't know who's going to win first, second, or third. I was telling the truth when I said it's close, there's some finalists that are literally within one point of each other.

Sunday: Be Extraordinarily Melodramatic Day!:
Siranae & Saber (tie) – 5
Astral & Gar (tie) – 3
Poik & Silver (tie) – 2

The week got off to an extremely strong start and nearly everyone did a great job with the theme so, in the end, it mostly came down to who made the most posts. In the end, there was three ties (pretty crazy, huh?). Siranae, Saber, Astral, and Gar all did equally well in terms of theme and post quality but Siranae and Saber had more posts, so they took first. Poik and Silver were probably the best qualitywise but had too few posts to unseat others.

Monday: Talk Like a Cliché Australian Day:
Saber – 5
Silver – 3
Gar & Sims (tie) – 2

Saber and Silver both did really well, but Saber made a lot more posts and edged out Silver for first. Gar and Sims didn't post as much as either of them but they did fairly well. Gar actually would have beaten out Sims if it wasn't for Sims' avatar change, which upped his score enough to make it a tie.

Tuesday: Become Easily Incensed Day:
Poik – 5
Saber – 3
Siranea & Silver (tie) – 2

Poik completely owned Tuesday. Not only did he do an excellent job with the theme, he made a pretty large amount of posts. Saber, Siranea, and Silver also did really well, and it basically just came to post count when judging between them.

I apologize for the delay. Without further ado, here's the winners of the rest of the days along with the overall winners of the week.

Wednesday: No Verbs Day:
Poik – 5
Saber – 3
Astral – 2

Following his success on Tuesday, Poik made another sweep with lots of good verb free posts. Saber did a pretty decent job of it too and Astral gave it a good shot but she screwed up too many times to give Saber any serious competition. There were some other people, such as Silver, who made some good posts but just didn't post enough to score.

Thursday: Be Very Very Mysterious Day
Poik – 5
Saber – 3
Siranae & Silver (tie) – 2

Poik continued his domination with tons of good posts and a nice avatar change. Saber put in another strong performance for second and Silver and Siranae tied for third (once again, they didn't make enough posts to have a chance at beating out Saber, despite high quality).

Friday: Needlessly Monologue Day
Poik – 5 (good job and lots of posts again)
Silver & Siranae (tie) – 3 (very good job)
Saber – 2 (good but less posts than the others)

Poik was clearly on a roll and monologued prolifically, getting yet another first place. Silver and Siranae also had some great monologues and posted a bit more. Strangely enough, they tied again (at second this time). In contrast, Saber posted less than usual, but she did manage third. By the end of this day, Poik was leading for first place in total week scores...by one point, wither Saber right behind him. Silver was in third but a bit too far behind to have a chance at unseating either of them. However, Siranae was only behind him by one point. So, as you can see, it really did come down to the final day...

Saturday: SUPER COMBO MIX-UP DAY
Poik – 5
Silver – 3
Saber – 2

Moving on to the final day, Silver did an excellent job and made a lot of posts in both styles. Poik, however, just managed to take first due to sheer number of posts, depsite only posting in one style (though he did a very good job with that style). Meanwhile, Saber put in a respectable third with some good posts in both styles.
