Pikmin: A Tale of Survival

Post by PokemonMaster9000 »

Hello. This is going to be my fanfic about pikmin, narrated by the protagonist Rusty, a red pikmin. For those who don't know what pikmin are, just look it up. My story falls under Action/Romance/Comedy. It starts out before Olimar comes, when all pikmin live in a small village named Flourishing Meadow. Rusty's friends Rex (a male blue pikmin) and Daisy (A female yellow pikmin) come over to his house for a sleepover one night, when disaster strikes. The story basically picks up from there. Now that I got that out of the way, enjoy the story!

Pikmim: A Tale of Survival
Chapter 1: Disaster Strikes
ding! ding! the bell at the front door was ringing. I opened the door to find my friend Rex. "Hey Rusty." Rex said. "Hey Rex." I replied. "Where's Daisy?" Daisy then jumped up right next to Rex. We went downstairs to prepare the nests for our sleepover. We had board games, junk food, and soda (or at least YOU'D call it soda. It's really sugary, carbonated, artificially flavored nectar). We were all set when I remembered one of the reasons why we were here. "Wait guys, we need to work on our school report, remember?" so we went outside to the Forbidden Weed. The Forbidden Weed was a deadly plant growing in the ground after rainy seasons, and is always in the same spot. It makes any underground-related operations down there impossible, and leading to death if attempted. Our village is far from it, but for our school report, we were gonna see why it's so deadly. And that's when we made the biggest mistake of our lives. Throwing a pebble at it. It was a flurrie of sand, panic, and death, leaving the village in ruins.

Pikmin: A Tale of Survival
Chapter 2: Stranded at the Impact Site
"Uh... is everybody alright?" I asked as I woke up. "Sorta. I got a pounding headache, though." Rex said as he woke up. "I know we're okay." Daisy said as she came to. "But what about the rest of Flourishing Meadow?" "All dead, most likely." said Rex. "Come on, we have to find food, nectar, and shelter." said Daisy. But I couldn't do anything. I just stood there in shock. Flourishing Meadow was destroyed. We were in the wild. Stranded. Nobody out to save us. Everybody out to kill us. We were at the bottom of the food chain. No food. No nectar. No shelter. No survival gear or knowledge. Every one of our loved ones dead. The last Pikmin alive. And it was all my fault.
