Man, that play was soo much fun. I wonder now many lines I can remember if I just started saying them now...nah, too lazy.Gardialvoir wrote:Large ham, much? Though, most people who play villains are required to be hams.Saber Knight wrote:Yeah, last year in The Jungle Book I got to sit among the audience. One of the nights one of my friends was sitting behind me, and it was REALLY hard not to break character, becuase she just kept talking to me. I broke character a bit, I think, but I was pretty good overall.
I may have not been the main character (though I was the main villian, which is awesomer), but everyone agreed I was, by far, the loudest. You could hear my voice crystal clear from the balcony. And then there's the scene where I started shouting. I remember at rehearsal the wolves were messing up so we had to do that scene over and over and over and...*rambles on*. Felt like I was gonna lose my voice.
Then there was the fun scene near the end where there's a silence and suddenly I jump up on a platform and start yelling. There's these three girls that sit on the platform, and the first time I did this I freaked them out so much that one fell off, and one of the other ones shouted "HOLY CRAP!" It was rather amusing, actually. Every time subsequently they flinched when I said my line. I'm a rockin' villain :D
Edit: After posting this, I realized I still rememberd the line. It was, "Bah! What do we have to do with this toothless fool? He's doomed to die! It's the mancub that has lived too long! Give him to me now or I will hunt here always and I will not give you a bone! He's a man, A MAN, and from the marrow of my bones I HATE him!"
I'm also really good at memorizing lines.
We rocked at the band show! Four stars, which is a silver medal! Whooo!
And, UMass Amherst was there. They were AMAZING! We've seen UMass Lowell a few times before, but Amherst was just incredible! Makes you feel bad about yourself, even though you know they're older. They're just that awesome.
Oh, and for no reason here's a video my friend sent me. It's the song One Day More from Les Mis (my favorite musical evah), but it's weird 'n' stuff. Watch it. You know you want tooo...
Bleh. Back to my project. *sigh*
