Re: Shinsengumi: Falling Blossoms
Ishi soon reached the hotel she was staying at and gave back her umbrella she had borrowed and headed up to her room. Though she wasn't successful tonight there would be other nights. But now she needed to scout the town and send the info back to Zaka so he can finish his map of the city. Rest is what she now needed so she can be active tomorrow. She was always a light sleeper so that anything that might try and sneek up on her she'd be ready, especially when she had some weapons under her with easy access in a quick reaction.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
"Night Gil. Sleep well." With that Zaka crawled into bed as well. He decided to pay a small visit to the demon realm in his sleep. The more he knew about demons the better. He wasn't sure why he could visit the place in his dreams but he did know that noone could see him and he couldn't interact with anyone there but he could still hear and see stuff. Sadly other then normal dreams, this was the only place he could choose to go to while he slept.
Bael smiled, and moved with Kaoru to his vanity place, and sat down with him, picking up the other male's comb, and began to gently comb his itoshii's long purple hair.
Look at this signature. Isn't it the funniest and most hilarious signature you've ever seen?
Kusa
Kusa stopped walking as his keen eyes spotted something strange. It is said that only spies can tell other spies apart from normal people, and nothing flushes out a spy better than another spy. The young man had caught sight of Olka and had immediately realized that the other was a spy as well. Olka seemed to be following someone. For what purpose, Kusa couldn't fathom.
But the fact of the matter was... Olka wasn't a spy who worked for the Shinsengumi, which immediately put him under Kusa's suspicion. From within the folds of his kimono, he drew out a Kunai and threw it at Olka. The kunai flew past the other's head, sinking into a nearby tree. Before Olka could look around to see where the kunai had come from, Kusa was gone, having vanished onto the nearby rooftops.
Kaoru
Kaoru allowed himself to be led over to the mirror on his side of their shared room. He sat down, flipping his hair so that it ran down his back. Bael sat down behind him and picked up a small jade comb, gently running it through his long purple waves. It was becoming a nightly ritual for the two of them. The simple comforting act was enough to put Kaoru right to sleep, and often he would simply fall asleep sitting up. However, no matter how peaceful he might have appeared to be while sleeping, one could always be sure that the Taichou was still alert to everything that went on around him...
Gil
Gil felt Zaka lay down near him and it put him at ease. He closed his eyes and yawned softly, his ears twitching slightly. Before falling asleep, he moved closer to his master, remaining right at his side, the loyal cat as always. Then he drifted to sleep and ceased to worry about anything.
Yamanami
Yamanami frowned and placed a gentle hand on Shinta's shoulder. "Shinta-kun... The Shinsengumi has no such goal. We aren't trying to keep Japan in the hands of the Shogunate. We are the peace keepers... Our only goal is to handle the roughians who cause trouble in the capitol. That is our only task. Don't forget that.", he said in a calm voice. "I know your anxious for more than that, but do not become disillusioned..."
Re: Shinsengumi: Falling Blossoms
Olka saw the sword fly from someones hands, just that he moved a few inches to know for certain that it would not hit him. It didn't even come close, but close enough for him to realize that he needed to move his mind more now that there were 3 people he had to look out for. Even in the rain, he moved his body this way and that on top of the buildings and followed the two people he had to keep an eye on at a short distance. He lost track of the other one, but he sent someone else to do his job.
"I do hope Tricillia got my message and is coming. Yet that is why I sent a message to her." Olka said under his breath. "More help the better, and if there is trouble, another person to excape with." He thought as the day started to die down and the stars came out. The other fact was that he needed very little sleep to stay at the top of his game. Less then 3 hours and he was fine for the new day.
"I know Yamanami-rei, but its going to be interesting if there will be a fight. I just feel that there were lives that were lost tonight. But I'm not sure. I might just have to sleep on it and then understand this situation tomorrow when I'm fully awake. Yet I love seeing the stars as they light the night sky. Their brightness has never shown this bright for awhile now, or just that I haven't bothered to look at them. Very strange indeed."
Shinta walked back inside and fell asleep as he dreamed of a better day. Even as he slept, he still worried about the killings and other things that have been going on.
Re: Shinsengumi: Falling Blossoms
"Right. I guess we better hurry, or else we'll be out here for a few more weeks... or however long this has taken. Well, it's not much farther, anyway," Honda explained before setting off, once again, for the apparently distant inn.
"Irregardless" and "Over exaggerated" are NEVER CORRECT EVER because they are redundant
Regardless means "without regard", and adding "ir" on the front actually makes it a double negative; exaggerate means "to overstate" so you're literally saying "over overstate."
Example: I can not exaggerate the importance of this fact enough, regardless of how often people ignore it.
Re: Shinsengumi: Falling Blossoms
Sakria hurried to follow after him, while wishing he'd dragged her along like he was supposed to. He really wasn't the most cooperative stalker... Fortunately, it didn't take them too much longer to reach the inn. Glad to be finally out of the rain, she approached the innkeeper to arrange for food and lodgings.
Re: Shinsengumi: Falling Blossoms
In the interest of speeding this up so we can all get on with our lives, Honda also requested a room at the inn. If you're gonna walk all the way there in the pouring rain, it doesn't make much sense to leave. Granted, he was fairly confident Sakria would just use that as evidence of stalking, so he waited until she was out of the way to so much as enter the building.
Re: Shinsengumi: Falling Blossoms
After filling her room with plenty of traps, just in case someone tried to sneak in, Sakria finally peeled off her wet clothes and dropped off to sleep.
Re: Shinsengumi: Falling Blossoms
Yamanami
Yamanami watched the young man go inside. He felt that it was probably time for him to do the same. After standing up and lightly dusting himself off, he went inside and returned to his room. It was time for bed and a good night's sleep.
Kusa
Kusa skillfully landed on the tiled roof of the Yagi Residence. He slid down and landed on the ground, quickly hopping up onto the porch and underneath the awning before the rain proceeded to soak him. The umbrella was placed outside of the door as he went inside, making his way to his room. He changed into his night clothes and wrote up a short report on the spy he'd found earlier. After finishing it, he finally layed down to go to sleep.
Bael finished up combing out every last inch of the flowing purple hair in front of him, and laid the comb down in front of the boy. He then proceeded to wrap his arms around him, pulling him close.
Dabido went to another chamber near by to Zaka's. He was tired from the day's activites and was welcoming sleep. It didn't take him long after laying down to fall fast asleep, but not before he made sure he'd wake up if anyone entered the room.
Re: Shinsengumi: Falling Blossoms
<Next Morning>
The rains from the previous evening had cleansed the city of Kyoto. Everything was fresh and clean... Whatever blood had been spilled during the night had been washed away. A new days starts now, just a few short hours after dawn.
Kusa
The young Shinsengumi spy was still dressed in the same yukata he'd slept in. He was seated at a low table, an inked paint brush resting in his hand. There was a sheet of paper laid out on the table with some writing already upon it. Kusa was compiling a report of the events that had happened yesterday. From his time in the tea house to the other spy he had come across on his way home. Hijikata would want to know all of it...
Kaoru
Kaoru slowly opened his eyes. He realized he was still resting in another's arms. With a small yawn, he disentangled himself from Bael. "Hey... Wake up. Breakfast is probably being made right about now. If we hurry, we can eat first and then start our patrol of the city early.", the young man said, tugging on his Itoshii's sleeve with a small giggle.
Gil
At dawn's first light, the neko was awake. Gil made sure to be completely quiet as he moved about in the small space, not wanting to disturb his master's slumber. He leaned himself back against the rock wall and began licking his hands and forearms. At one point, they must have gotten dirty. His feline traits urged him to clean himself up in this manner.
Re: Shinsengumi: Falling Blossoms
Sakria woke early and was quick to bathe and dress before breakfast was brought to her room. She was unsure of how long she would need to stay in the capital but the inn was preferable to sleeping outdoors, and the location seemed convenient, so she informed the owner that she would be stay for another night, possibly longer, and stepped out onto the now bustling streets of the city.
Bael's arm was wrapped around Kaoru, pulling him back down into a hug after he spent the time to stand. He smirked, and rose to his feet, stretching. "Mmm... Lets hurry. I don't want to miss any of the action." He said, holding his hand down to help Kaoru back up.
Re: Shinsengumi: Falling Blossoms
By sheer coincidence, probably, Honda had exitted the inn moments before Sakria. He stopped in front of the building to wait for her, though when she emerged he started to walk in order to make it look like he just happened to be passing by. This was all just to see the reaction he'd get, of course, but he was sure to play it off as a complete coincidence regardless.
