Just to answer this, yes it is compared to other countries.
A brand new DS lite costs on average $190AU
A brand new Wii costs about $400AU
The DS games are about $60-70AU
And Wii games are about $100AU
That's all I can remember off the top of my head, but I can check out the GAME store for more prices if you wish. GAME is so much better then EB

Going off the rest of your post, last I checked, a Austrailian dollar was fairly close to a US dollar so yeah, you've paying a decent amount more for games than we do.
A brand new DS lite costs on average $130
A brand new Wii costs about $250
The DS games are about $30-40
And Wii games are about $40-50

Japan's game prices were fairly close to those in the US (although there was a much larger price variation between individual stores than there is here). It was just DVDs that were super expensive there.

My cousin from britin was saying that. The DS games there cost 30 pounds each there, and the Wii games for 40 pounds, which is about $80 for a Wii game.

Aw, sorry to hear that Kaida. I've lost two grandmothers, but I was only about 4 or 5 years old (they both died within a years time from cancer), so I didn't understand it very well. Looking back now, I'm not even sure I cried. They were just kinda....gone.

In other news, my grandfather passed away tonight...

Oh... my... gosh... I feel so awful right now. You were miserable, having just found out that a family member has passed away and I couldn't support you because what was I doing? Having the most fun birthday party I've ever had...

My party doesn't seem that good now... It's all a lie...

I haven't had any relatives since I was in primary school (my Grandad.) I found out while I was sleeping over another friend's place but I can't eally remember it much. I remember crying a lot, but that's about it... I ALMOST lost Grandma lat year, but I just somehow KNEW she was going to be alright so... yeah... I don't really know what it's like to have a family member die.

I am so sorry. I'll make it up to you though, when you come up here (later on this week is it?) I will give you lots of hugs, then we'll go shopping... shooooopiiiiing... yes.

DANGIT! I always find out about stuff after the last minute! Sorry to hear that Kaida. Both of my Grandpas are dead too. And so far me, my mom, and my brother were the only ones that gave a rat's ass. (Everyone else in my family just wanted money)

So anyway, getting past that emotional turmoil. I tossed coin to determine which comic to focus on. And pokemon came up with Heads. Soooo for the moment Daisho7 will be put on hold. But that doesn't mean I'm not accepting submissions for the contest yet. You lazy slobs. :P

But yeah expect the series to get updated finally. Or rebooted (Depends on if I can find all of my stuff)

Hey.
Just got back from North Shore Music Theater where I saw the 25th Annual Putnam County Spelling Bee (it's a musical, for all who don't know).
It was hillarious! And they also had 4 audience members go up on stage, which was cool. They basically just participated in the bee, and if they messed up they were taken off stage.
There was one guy who got a hard one right that they expected him to get wrong, so they made him spell another word that was super-hard cuz they needed to get all of the audience people offstage.
It was a really good musical.
