Eh, it's not that bad. The only KH where getting synth martials is a real pain in KH Final Mix. Getting some of the materials you need from the new heartless is seriously annoying.

i have the Final Mix games also, really need to work on them...i didn't think it was too much trouble my first play though but i can't seem to get them to drop anything, and I'll camp for hours and get maybe 1 of what i need...and i need like 6 of each @_@

So Sora, can you change the language? Or can you just read Japanese?

you can't change the language, but the cutscenes are still in english, just all the text is in Japanese. I can't read Japanese, yet. I only know a handful of words, and once things kind of settle down for me I plan to learn some more.

The KH FM games are fairly easy to play without any knowledge of Japanese, if you've played the original game anyway. All spoken dialogue is in English but all written dialogue and menu text is Japanese. If you know some Japanese, or if you've played the full English version, it's easy enough to get by.

Still playing Fire Emblem: Radiant Dawn.
I'm about half way through part 3 now. Fun stuff.
Everyone is currently alive, which is a plus.

You can mod a regular PS2 to play Japanese games, but it involves buying a kit and taking at least some of the system apart.

I wish I had a Japaneese SNES. Then I could get all of those Japaneese Fire Emblem games (though I wouldn't understand one bit of the plot.....).
Did I mention I heard they're re-making the Fire Emblem with Marth for the DS?

Oh...yeah....I'm still playing Radiant Dawn. Actually, Tango's playing it this moment. She hasn't been playing it as much as I have, though. I just told her to play it, and she decided to agree for lack of anything better to do.

actually as far as i know you don't need a Japanese SNES, there was no Region Locks on them...come to think of it there aren't any Region Locks on any Cartridge based systems.
As for the PS2 mod it depends on what kind of PS2 you have (phat or slim) and if you are willing to void your warranty.
