El Goonish Shive
My webcomic of the week is El Goonish Shive, another keenspot comic.
This comic has run since 2002, and I have been with it since near the beginning.
It's art starts of fairly inacurate, but swiftly gets much, much better, and if you take a look at the front page, you will see that it's really quite good.
This comic is hugely story based, and has many, many arcs, but is also very funny.
A few favourites are: http://www.egscomics.com/d/20020726.html And http://www.egscomics.com/d/20040524.html

DD?
Well, back to this week's comic.
I really liked it as well. Though I prefer a colored comic on most occasions, I'm fine with a black and white one (at least, at the stage I'm in with the comic it's only black and white). Art isn't huge for me.
I like how it's story-based. I tend to prefer that over just random funnies.
I'm now going to have to read the whole archive though. :P
That may take some time.
Favorite comics: This, this, and this. So far at least.

So far it's interesting. I'll get back to this comic when I have time. I wish I had more to say but I have some latin work I have to do... by midnight. Don't ask.
Hmm... This signature just got really short...

...Crap. I've heard good things about El Goonish Shive. I've been meaning to look into it for ages but never got around to it. So of course, when I have incentive to actually start reading... I end up leaving for the weekend, causing me to forget about the Webcomic of the Week club entirely.
If I can, I'll read some of it tomorrow morning before the next comic is posted, in which case this post will be edited to reflect my successful reversal of procrastination and ignorance.

"Irregardless" and "Over exaggerated" are NEVER CORRECT EVER because they are redundant
Regardless means "without regard", and adding "ir" on the front actually makes it a double negative; exaggerate means "to overstate" so you're literally saying "over overstate."
Example: I can not exaggerate the importance of this fact enough, regardless of how often people ignore it.

Due to numerous reasons including grandparents, bees, and Kingdom Hearts, I only managed to read the first 100 strips so far. Now for such a long running comic I'd highly prefer to read more before posting here but out of time and all that. Just keep in mind that my commetns are based soley on the first 100 strips.
Art is passable, though nothing great. I'm sure it'll improve more as the comic goes on though. The story are characters are also decent though not anything amazing yet. Although I have to admit that I do like the whole anime martial arts style (I would so study that). It's also amusing, though not hillarious. So, for me so far it's not bad but not great. However, I've heard so many good things about EGS that I'm going to keep reading for a while when I have time.
One thing though, I'm getting kinda tired of the fact that just about every new web comic I read these days seems to have a character who's secretely a genius mad scientist...

Or I'll just... post again, because saying, "I agree with Josiah" when my post comes before his would be kind of weird.
Yes, Luquos, we know that the comic has improved over time. That's just how it goes; practice makes perfect. But we've got to start somewhere, and the beginning makes sense. No one seems to have passed a judgement on the comic as a whole based only on the earlier pages.
That said... the only aspect of the comic I was really impressed with, based only on the early pages, was the consistent, daily updates. I don't know... It kind of felt like I was reading Emergency Exit again, except less funny. Transforming bio-weapons, crazy scientifically impossible gadgets, catgirls... Still enjoyable, and the characters are cool enough that I'll keep reading if I get the chance, but there's nothing particularly original about it. Except Anime-Style Martial Arts. That wasamazing.
Oh yeah, and Saber, 'DD' is Dominic Deegan, which Josiah made us read a while ago. And everyone should really look into.
