Say, since Dood brought the subject in, can anyone tell what game they played had the most paths in it that were at least semi-well made? Note: Chrono Trigger doesn't count because the only difference is when you fight Lavos, the game is pretty linear outside of that.

Hi! I`ve played lots of games with multiple endings (sometimes quite a lot of endings) but most of those still only had one or two real story paths (sometimes with a few small branches that didn`t affect the overall plot much).
Let`s see... Tatics Ogre: Knight of Lodis on the GBA had several major branchs in the story and Growlanzer II had a couple (though one was very late in the game and the other was only available if you fullfilled certain requirements before reaching it). Also there was this very early PS2 adventure game made by Konami (can`t think of the name at the moment) that had a lot of different story paths (and you had to follow them all and see all the endings in order to open up the final path and get the last ending).
And MMOs don`t count cause they don`t have much of a plot.

Dammit I was gonna say Growlanser 2...although the second split is near the end of the game and the first require you to only have Mission Completes there's quite a good difference between each, they all have their respective endings and none of them are overtly good or evil: you do what you think is right.
Hmmmm...Front Mission 3 too, somewhat...since there's only 2 paths but the split is right at the beginning of the game, playing both sides give you a better understanding of the whole story.

Heso! As far as I know, the only video game I've ever played with more than one possible ending is... Harvest Moon: Save the Homeland. And outside of Gwen (<3), that was like the worst Harvest Moon Game ever. Everyone in town completely forgetting you at the end of the year... honestly!
"Irregardless" and "Over exaggerated" are NEVER CORRECT EVER because they are redundant
Regardless means "without regard", and adding "ir" on the front actually makes it a double negative; exaggerate means "to overstate" so you're literally saying "over overstate."
Example: I can not exaggerate the importance of this fact enough, regardless of how often people ignore it.

Oblivion doesn't count. There's nothing that prevent you from doing 100% of the game in 1 run, so it's only one path.Kisori wrote:Hmm... Theres elder Scrolls Oblivion. And also, does lego count as art?

It was lonely... you promised you'd write to me, but you never did... the months passed by, and I still thought of you every day, but you never called. I never got any letters from you.
So eventually, I started to lose faith... I thought you had been killed in that terrible, terrible war. Or maybe that you had forgotten about me. It's been so long, you probably found another girl over there... I never stopped loving you, but I didn't think you cared about me anymore, so welcoming you back just would have been too painful for me... I'm sorry. I'm glad you've come back home *sniff*

Heso! The only Origami I can do is the crane (Both 'flapping' and 'peace' varieties), but I did make approximately 270 of the 1,000 for my Anime club's "Let's make 1,000 cranes! Now stop folding them during my class and pay attention!" project. So I've at least mastered that.

Heso! Sadako Sasaki. Yeah, that's the one. The crane is supposed to bring long life, and folding a thousand of them is supposed to grant a wish (Anyone else watch Heroes...?). So we fold a thousand of them, ship 'em off to Japan, and... um... it's a fun time.
