This is a formal announcement that Saber Knight is now a mod in the IPA section, and...
Josiiiaaah! There are spam bots! Two of them! I'm in the process of deleting all 31 of their posts, but I'll leave the ones in this section just for reference. All of the others are completely identical. There isn't anything... obscene in their posts, it's just annoying.

"Irregardless" and "Over exaggerated" are NEVER CORRECT EVER because they are redundant
Regardless means "without regard", and adding "ir" on the front actually makes it a double negative; exaggerate means "to overstate" so you're literally saying "over overstate."
Example: I can not exaggerate the importance of this fact enough, regardless of how often people ignore it.

Nifty new feature I can use as an admin... Deleting a user account and all their posts and threads at the same time. Hopefully they're done. If they come back again I'll try IP bans and if that still fails I'll look for a better new user authentication system.

New member TjeobreClaroS has posted over 20 spam threads and posts. I.ve deleted the ones I've found. I think it is a spam bot.

Over 20? More like, over 90. This is by far the worst one yet if Shauni deleted some of its posts and I still come back to find 91 new threads...

Account deleted and IP banned. I tried increasing the difficulty of the CAPCHA test when new users sign up though whether or not that will help depends on how this new type of bot works. If it doesn't help, I'll look for something better when I have free time.

Ugh... Admin activation is such a pain. Since it hasn't gotten too horrible yet (remember, I can delete all posts by any member in about 30 seconds so you can can just point me in the right direction and I can kill them quickly, instead of deleting everything yourselves), I'd like to just leave things as is for a few days. I'll have time on the weekend (possibly sooner) to look for a way to change the sign up process and permantently stop the bots. If I can't figure anything out then I'll turn on admin account activation.
