ActionTrip

Post by Voltaggia »

ActionTrip is one of my favourite comics. Some people might recignise the site because they're using it for cheats and stuff, but they also happen to run a webcomic.

The comic makes fun out of everything - computer games, TV shows and even actors. Of course, the author plays WoW and there are plenty of WoW - based webcomics, but they are understandable for other players too.

There are also reoccuring "Gamer Buddy" type comics, which follow the typical "Gamer Buddy" style - one of them is totally obsessed with everything, while the other one is calmed down. But there is the couch... watch our for the couch!

My favourite? The Big Fat ActionTrip adventure, of course! And Uwe Boll "fan" comic. And Apocalypse

Warning to anyone who hasn't read this comic yet, it's got at least a PG-13 rating for language and adult situations.

Ugh, where to begin... Sorry Voltaggia but I really disliked this one. I stopped reading as soon as I hit 50 strips and, had it not been for the club rules, I probably would have stopped after about three.

The art is fairly well done, I'll give it that. Problem is, I really hate the art style, so the qaulity doesn't matter much to me. Art aside, I saw no reason for all the swearing and sex jokes. Totally unneccessary and not funny either. Actually, out of all 50 strips I read, I didn't think a single one was funny. I didn't laugh once. Heck, I didn't even crack a smile. Wish it actually had been a 'gamer buddy' comic, even though I'm not all that fond of those, I like most of them more than this. So yeah... Maybe it's just me but I really couldn't find a single thing to like about ActionTrip.

Meh, I dunno... I skipped Josiah's warning about the PG-13 thing, but now I have an excuse to not read it.

Not much time left people. And remember, just cause I didn't like it that's not an excuse to skip out.

It's not lame, It's just not really the type of comic some of us are interested in.

That being said I have to agree with Josiah on this one. I think the art is good for its style but its not one of my favorite styles so I'd really have to look at everything else to want to ead more but its not all that great in those areas either for me.
Redback, Funnel-Web, Blue-ringed octopus
Taipan, Tigersnake and a Box jellyfish
Stonefish and the poison thing that lives in a shell
