Slightly Damned

Post by Silver »

Tada!

If the title didn't tip you off, there's a bit of cursing in the comic... it's not bad, though. Would anyone besides Cheesey really be bothered anyway?

Plot: We follow the adventures of Rhea Snaketail, who may look like a furry, but I promise she's not. She, uh... she died. Not too long ago. Imediately before the comic begins, in fact. And Death wasn't quite sure what to do with her. She'd made her share of mistakes, but she didn't deserve to go to hell... thus she was only slightly damned. Although you'd know that if you read the first two pages... but I can't very well spoil it for you.
Art: If I said 'Anime style', would you be at all surprised? The art's pretty good, even in the beginning... full color and all that, too.
Favorite Strips: The deepest circles of hell really are scary... almost as scary as bunnies with knives.
"Irregardless" and "Over exaggerated" are NEVER CORRECT EVER because they are redundant
Regardless means "without regard", and adding "ir" on the front actually makes it a double negative; exaggerate means "to overstate" so you're literally saying "over overstate."
Example: I can not exaggerate the importance of this fact enough, regardless of how often people ignore it.

great comic. absolutely great.

I somehow like comics with continious plot more than those that are just random. Not that I don't like the random comics. The art is really, really nice and plot is very good. The creator is doing an amazing job.

Here's a favorite just cause my name's in it.

No, but seriously, that was one of the better webcomics I've read in a while. It was funny, angsty, cute (I'm secure enough to admit it), and the art was exceptional for it's style. The plot is easy to follow, and you never wonder if it's a dream or the fictional reality <.< .

It may have been the ungodly hour at which I chose to read it, but I couldn't stop reading once I started. This webcomic gets two thumbs up by me.
Hmm... This signature just got really short...

Uh Kisori, you need to be a club member to post here. If you`re interested in joining, take a look at the rules thread.

Anyway, I`m at work right now so I can`t post favorite strips but I can type up my thoughts. At the start, somewhat unique premise aside, the comic didn`t really hold my interest. I found it only mildly funny and the plot didn`t seem to be going much of anywhere. But I kept reading and after 100 strips or so things started to get more interesting. Having read the whole archives, I`ll say that it`s not a bad comic and I`m gonna add it to the list of web comics I read regularily. If it hadn`t been a club assignment though, I`m not sure if I would have kept reading long enough to get past the slow start.
As for the art, it`s not bad though not amazing either, although there are some nice touches here and there.

Well, In short, I like It, even If the Stroy Does have a slow start. But I love the art and spent a couple hours in the dungeon reading it. Like other comic's I've found It addictive and If I had a Favorites list to stick it on I would. Speaking of the Dungeon, I'm there now. ^_^
Redback, Funnel-Web, Blue-ringed octopus
Taipan, Tigersnake and a Box jellyfish
Stonefish and the poison thing that lives in a shell
