Well, it's going out in Japan in a week and commercials are airing. The only problem would be a translation issue, which I'd doubt would happen.

According to Brawl Central, a source of news for Brawl not sponsered by Nintendo, Sonic and Snake are hidden characters, as in, they're not available from the start.

... Oh... If they really are hidden characters then it's possible that the ones they list on the website really are the only ones in the game... Which means Cap. Falcon's out and he was my best character!

I highly doubt that. People would start a riot if Capt. Falcon, Luigi, Marth, Roy etc. weren't in the game.

Luigi is a given and I'm sure Falcon is too. Guys that I'm not so sure will be returning are: Roy and Marth (Ike seems to be a replacement), Ness (once again, the new Earthbound guy kinda replaces him), Dr. Mario, Falco, Young Link, and Gannondorf (cause they're more or less just variations of guys who are already in), and Mr. Game & Watch (just because). Hope not (well, for some of them, couldn't really care less about Dr. Mario) but we'll just have to wait and see.

Nintendo accidently revealed Jigglypuff and Ness's return, AND revealed Lucario has playable.
