What did you get for Christmas?
What did you get for Christmas?
I got a three Toa Mahri: Hali, Hewkie, and Nuparu. I also got Mario Kart DS(If you have it, please tell me you're friend code), Mosby's Medical Dictionary, and a stereo that lets you hook your IPod up so it can play your songs, a new cell phone, and a used laptop(although you can hardly tell it's used). So what did you get?

"Dobby never meant to kill, only to...maim. Or seriously injure."

A third controller for the Wii! Now my siblings and I can play Mario Party and it's ACTUALLY fun! ("What do you mean, you want to play this mini game? It's MY turn!" "God, Daisy's voice is so annoying! Why do we have to play as her?" "Melvin, give me back the controller!" "Mo!")
Then the FMA 2008 calendar, FMA volume 15, Pirates of the Caribbean 3 on DVD... and volumes 1 and 2 of Hunter x Hunter. Which would be great, except that I already have 1 and 2, hence requesting 3... I guess asking my mom to remember a name AND a number is asking a bit much, even when it's... entirely in English... and written down...
Oh, and we also got Apples to Apples! Which, for the record, is the best game ever. Just ask Stevenson. House rules Apples to Apples. Fun Times.

"Irregardless" and "Over exaggerated" are NEVER CORRECT EVER because they are redundant
Regardless means "without regard", and adding "ir" on the front actually makes it a double negative; exaggerate means "to overstate" so you're literally saying "over overstate."
Example: I can not exaggerate the importance of this fact enough, regardless of how often people ignore it.

Hellen Keller won for lucky? XD Just today, my sister used the Hellen Keller card for 'Selfish'. She didn't win, though... 'Intellectuals' did. And then there was the time 'Tacos' won for... geez, I don't even remember the word. All I remember is that I was the judge and I was wearing a sombrero so Tacos won.

It's a game. Everyone gets a bunch of cards and each card has a word on it. And there's a really diverse selection of words. There's also a stack of cards for themes. Each round has a theme and the each round one player (everyone takes turns) is the judge. Say the round is "Exciting". Everyone except the judge has to choose a card from their hand that they think best fits the theme of the round (or that they think the judge will like best, which is where it usually gets interesting). Then the judge reads through everyone's words (usually amidst much laughter) and picks the one that he thinks best fit the theme (or one that has nothing to do with theme but he just wanted to pick), the person who played that card says so and wins the round.

That game is funny. I like watching my friends play it, especially since the winning word combinations are totally random.
I got three used books (The Mammoth Hunters, The Plains of Passage, and The Shelters of Stone), a tin of hot chocolate mix, some chocolate fudge in a cookie cutter, a tin of chocolate wafers, a bookmark with my name on it, a tiny photo book, a dog beanie baby, a watch, a bar of soap, some candy canes and chocolate coins, some sort of bath thing (not sure what the heck I'm supposed to use it for), and this squishy tofu-pig-keychain-thingy.
I also bought myself a trilogy by Mercedes Lackey (Arrows of the Queen, Arrows Flight, and Arrows Fall) and got to attend two birthday parties on the same day. That was fun. The second one landed me in a movie theater watching The Golden Compass. It wasn't that bad if you haven't read the book (though a little repetitive in places), but I noticed a huge amount of movie-book discrepancies.
