"I don't think we'll get far in a concession stand or rowboat and building ships isn't really my thing so maybe we should go over to Honest Stan's Previously Used Ships and see what that gold can buy."

"I'm in obviously" Kaida said. "And the reason I asked if there was a shipwright here was because it'd be nice if we had someone that new which ship could sail and which couldn't. But now that you mention it I know Stan at Honest Stan's Previously Used Ships so we should be alright there, but first we need to go to a bank."

"A bank? This is a pirate town! No one's dared to open up a bank; they'd be robbed blind in a matter of days! I wouldn't be surprised if Honest Stan was the perpetrator, either... eh, we'll see if he'll take the gold as is. Come on, crew! We've got a pirate ship to buy! And remember - stay away from the pink ones! They're likely to have demon-posessed figureheads!" Silver shouted as he stepped away from his lemonade stand. Before going too far, he kicked the corner, causing it to collapse into a pile of wood. Without sparing it a thought, he marched off in the general direction of Honest Stan's Previously Used ships.

"I could think of plenty of other reasons to avoid pink ships." Talene followed after Silver. "Even if I'm just tagging around for a while, I'd rather not be riding on a ship that's the laughingstock of every pirate crew from here to the Grand Line. Well, maybe if it was Pink Mustache Rob's ship, everyone knows better than to laught at them."

Dr. Marcus decided to go along as well, seeing that there was nothing better to do. "Oi! Make sure our ship has decent size galley! I need some place to run all my tests you know!"

Before long the group arrived as Honest Stan's and were quickly greeted by Stan himself, a fast talker who wanted to know what kind of ship they were interested in.

"Um... One that won't sink maybe?" Talene cast a glance at a the nearest vessel, which could almost pass for a submarine.

Pierce did know about ships, however.

"We want a ship with cannons -with wheels, not bolted to the decks. We'll also need firing slats to tie ropes to. And the masts need to be made of strong wood, nothing that will break apart too easily.

For starters, anyway." he finshed, as it seemed everyone else was waiting for him to finish. He lit another medicinal ciggarette (the smoke is green).

Marcus was downwind of Pierce when he(Pierce) lit the cig. Marcus started to cough once he breathed in some of the smoke. "I'm sorry, I'm sorry. It's just that, the smoke irritates my lungs. Can't that medicine be made into a pill or a some-?" He was cut off by another bout of coughing. "I sure hope it's just the smoke that's making me cough like that. Now, onto the ship. How much will it cost with the medium size gally, stationary cannons, firing slats, and a mast, or masts, that is strong and sturdy? Oh, and how about a bedroom big enough that our crew won't be packed like sardines?"

Silver took about three seconds to loose interest in what Pierce was saying about canons and firing slats. And within another three seconds, his attention was caught by a Caravel - a run down one, at that - with a figure head that looked like... a hamster. The ship itself was painted orange and white, Hamtaro-style. So without second thought, he climbed up to the hamster head and sat down on it. "Hey, guys! This one's pretty cool, right? It even matches our rodent-theme!"

Marcus turned his head to where Silver's voice came from and yelled, "First of all, what rodent-theme? Second of all, you must be crazy if you think we are sailing on that ship. Look at it! Not only does it scream 'Laugh at me now,' but it looks like it will sink if more than three people climb aboard it!"

At that moment, Stan walked up to Marcus and muttered in his ear, "It's got a big galley."

"How big?" Marcus muttered back.

"Big enough to cook a feast and run a pharmacy."

"I love it!" Marcus exclamed as he jumped aboard the ship and made a bee-line toward the galley.

Darryl was at the moment hugging the figurehead. "Sooooo cute..." he sighed, then realized everybody was staring at him. "YOU DIDN'T SEE ANYTHING!!!" Darryl cried, then continued hugging thee figurehead.
