He sat down, closing his eyes.
(Time for a cheap therapy session) "When Simeon died, I felt like a part of me died... Why...? Why did it hurt more than it should...?"

Look at this signature. Isn't it the funniest and most hilarious signature you've ever seen?

Louanne shifted uneasily. She herself had felt unhappy for some months after Simeon's death, but it no longer made her depressed when it was brought up. Obviously, Trik wasn't quite as rapid in healing. "There's not much I can do to help you in that aspect," she said slowly, "And I won't lie to you and say I know how you feel. You were closer to Simeon than I was, and so his loss left a deeper wound on you than it did on me. But if you don't want to let it heal, it won't. It's really a matter of letting go. If you keep wondering why he had to die and leave you with all this authority, you'll wind up piling more and more stress on yourself. It's best to accept what's happened, make it a part of yourself, learn from it, and move on."

Trik just sat in his chair quiet for about a minute or 2. He turned his chair around once more, looking out the window.
His voice was quiet. "Louanne... may I be alone for awhile...?"

(What wonderful timing.)
Israfel was about to get up from his sitting position on the floor when the pain in his head suddenly became overwhelming. His hands flew to his head and he clenched his eyes shut as a single tear squeezed itself free and slid down his cheek. A strangled cry wrenched itself from his chest as his body jerked harshly, causing him to hit the floor hard. Convulsions then siezed his body in an uncontrollable fit. Israfel was aware of everything up until his head slammed against the wall, robbing him of his consciouseness. His last thought was this, "Why is this happening to me...?"

If you haven't guessed as much, I used to be Artemis around these parts.
Maya was yet again on the roof of the building "sigh, I hope he'll start believing in himself soon, Mei needs him to overthrow Ragnarok..." she said to herself "Eh, I guess since I got no other place to go, I might as well look around, might find some answers.
"What do you want Spirn?"
"Spirn"
For a moment she felt a sharp pain in her head, she collapesed to the ground, losing conscienceness "w...who... is Spirn...?"
(she's unconscience on the roof of the HQ btw...)
-------------------------------------------------------
"Are you OK?" Lyn asked, running up to Israfel, who was already unconscience, "What are we suppose to do now? I really don't think we should bother the 'boss' again.."

Dirge nodded. "No problem. Although you really shouldn't let things get under your skin that easily. It's hazardous...", he replied. "Besides, if you've got a question for Mei, go find her and ask her yourself. Don't rely on him to even bother talking to you. Trust me on that..."
"All right then. Bet I could probably sniff her out.", Rem said, running a clawed hand through his midnight hair. His slitted eyes turned to look at Dirge. "You should come with me. Hiding out in your room and remaining shrouded within the shadows all the time can't be very good for you."

(Israfel won't be waking up for quite a while and until he does, I only have my dark side characters to play with.)
"Someone shot you, Mei? Are you all right?", Dirge asked, standing at least a yard behind the girl. He was always cautious and tried to stay a good distance away from other people when he could manage it.
Rem was standing beside him, holding Dirge's arm in a clawed grip. It didn't seem to be bothering Dirge but it wasn't like Rem actually cared about that. He feigned ignorance as he consulted Mei. "Were you training a new girl? Or was her voice merely one of the voices that so often wander into my mind out of the darkness?"

Dirge took a few steps closer to Mei, his eyes searching her clothing for blood. "Are you all right....?", he repeated, concern in his voice. "Is it a severe injury?" Normally, he would have kept to minding his own business but in this case he simply couldn't bring himself to do that. It was all right with him if he got hurt but when it came to others around him, he couldn't help but be concerned for them.
Rem had already lost his focus on the other two, even though he had been forced to move when Dirge had walked closer to Mei. He was merely relieved to have his suspicion confirmed. "Oh, yes... That's all well and good. Because I hate it when those damned voices wander in. They bark off idiotic orders as though they were RaggedSock.", he growled.
(Yes, Rem is refering to Ragnarok as RaggedSock. He does it on purpose.)

"Nah. I'm fine" she replied, "But Maya should be back by now, wonder what's keeping her."

Lyn left Israfel in the care of Louanne and decided to take a breath of fresh air on the roof. When she got there, she saw lying the on the ground, Maya "It's the girl from before." she said to herself. She decided to help, taking Maya to the healers at HQ.
(No, Maya ain't injured bad, Lyn just thought it was best.)

Israfel was still unconscious, the effects from the recent seizure still ravaging his frail body. As he lay in a dormant state, various images began to play through his mind... almost as though they were his forgotten memories. He pieced together a scene.
There was a large sterile lab filled with all sorts of machines and scientists running around doing observations and whatnot. A large pod was opening, the vapors that had accumulated within it finally escaping into the lab. It's contents spilled out onto the cold metal floor.
Israfel saw himself fall limply onto the floor, his body not used to supporting its own weight. "But... wait, that can't be... Is that really... me...?", he muttered, watching more of the scene unfold. Someone kneeled down beside the newly emerged boy and lifted his chin, examining him. The angel simply couldn't recall the person's face... Or rather, he found himself trying not to recall. Then everything went black and suddenly Israfel was staring at his own image... only...
"Ah, there you are."
"Wha... what's going on here...?", Israfel asked, holding his head as he looked at his own image.
"That was your birth. How you were created. Through unnatural means.", the other Israfel smirked.
"No... That can't be... But why? How...?"
"It's ashame that you've grown so fond of Trik. You're going to be the death of him, soon enough I might add."
Israfel's violet eyes widened in suprise as he sank to his knees. It took him a few tries before he could speak. "What...? I would never hurt him! He saved me...! He...", his replies were broken and cut short.
"That was all part of the plan. You're serving your purpose as we speak." Another derranged smirk.
"What are you talking about!?", Israfel cried out, pleading to recieve an answer.
"You shall remain in the dark until the creator sees fit for you to know." With that last devastating remark, the other Israfel vanished.
On the outside, while Israfel slept and experienced the horrible visions, he would twitch and whimper, his pale hands gripping at whatever surface was underneath them.
~~~~~
Rem's lips formed a fanged smirk as he released Dirge's arm and walked closer to Mei. "If you're worried about what might have happened to the new girl, then let's go and see. Let's get out of this place and go find her.", he said, placing his clawed hands on his hips.
Dirge shuddered at the mere thought of being able to leave his "home" for even the smallest amount of time. It would have been so... wonderful... But there was something keeping him from immediately agreeing with Rem. A little thing called fear. He bit his bottom lip before talking to the Feral Child. "I... really don't think that's a good idea. We could all be severly punished by Him if He finds out."
