New Dawn

Nikka gasped, taking in the sight around her. Blood had spattered everywhere, both lycan and vampire. She couldn't tell one from the other though, and had taken too long looking around. A wolf pounced on her, and began to snap at her neck. Nikka wasn't going to let that happen though, and she fought back fiercely, her teeth digging into the wolf's neck and torso. After a brief struggle, she finished it, ripping the wolf's neck. It's dead weight fell ontop of her, and as Nikka got up, she realized that he had turned back into a human. She gasped slightly, realizing that the resembelance to Thomas was startling. It seemed that he lived on... but she couldn't dwell on that, as another wolf was coming for her.

The wolf in question was Blood Fang. He seemingly pounced to attack Nikka, who tried to attack him, but she missed. She heard a whimper and turned around, to find Blood Fang finishing off a werewolf that was trying to kill her by sneaking up behind her. "Sneek attack," he panted. "He almost got you. Your welcome, by the way."

Nikka stared at the wolf in astonishment. "W-Why did you help me?" she stuttered, hair falling in front of her eyes. Wasn't he supposed to be attacking her?

"I'm not like the others. You were about to be killed, or worse, infected. I wanted to save you from a fate worse then death. Besides, I think you have other things to worry about" he said, motioning in Alex's direction. "I'll go with you."

Nikka only smirked. "I'm already caught in this web.." she said quietly, glancing at the wolf, very torn. He seemed like he really wanted to help, but he was still a werewolf. She sighed, and bit her lip. "Alright," she mumbled, dipping her head slightly, "You can come."

"Thanks" He said. As the two were walking, Blood Fang decided to tell her something important. "Listen, the werewolves are planing something big. more then you can imagin. The pack is planing on turning the vampires into werewolves. It's supposed to be impossible, but they figured out how to do it. I don't know why, but it can't be good." He noticed that Nikka was staring at him this whole time. "Are you even listening to me?"

Nikka was stunned slightly, so she took a moment to nod. "Yes.." she mumbled glancing back at Alex to make sure he'd hear as well.

With more coming, Alex moved his swords fast as ever and sliced one in two. But he kept pushing himself harder then ever. Watching every movement that they made, he counter and killed them instead. Turning, he saw Nikka with a werewolf, talking, and he just thought that something might be wrong. So he ran to Nikka to see what was going on.

Before he got there, he was hit hard in the stomach and hit the tree. Getting up Alex threw one of his swords and it went through the werewolf's heart, killing it. He put his hand to his heart, and felt it.

Nikka quickly took her eyes off the wolf, and stared at Alex. "What's wrong?" she demanded, taking a short step towards him.

Alex looked up to see Nikka, yet he only did what was best. "Just a little weak, that is all. I think we are winning. I heard a call from our people. They came. Over 1500 soldiers of vampires are here now." Alex paused. "Who is that? Who are you?" asking the person beside Nikka.

"He saved me, and explained a very interseting plot..." Nikka explained quickly, "He told me that the werewolves were trying to turn the vampires into one of them.." she added.

Alex just shook his head as he heard what Nikka told him. But still, he saw that the werewolfs were being killed faster now. More vampires were runing across the grass, and Alex knew that the time might be done. "We must hurry. If anything happens, we need to get ride of this problem."

"Kill them all!" Alex screamed as he withdrew his sword from the body and charged two werewolfs.

Nikka's eyes widened, and she ducked, forcing a wolf to fly over her head. She hissed angrilly, and pounced on it, ripping at it's throat.

After the two werewolfs that he killed, Alex ran back to Nikka to help her out. And to tell her something very special. Taking her head for just a second, Alex told her. "I know, but you have a child in your belly. But you also need to know that with so much effort to keep my heart up to speed, I'm not able to last long. Sorry Nikka but I'm going to die after this." A tear went down his face, as his eyes were starting to get wet.

Nikka stared at Alex in shock for a moment before she reacted to the news. "A-Alex.. don't say t-that.." she stammered, trying to keep tears at bay, but not suceeding. She held his hand in both of hers. "You can s-say that.."
