I could use some suggestions. There's gonna be five people left come Round 2. That means I'd either have to give one person a by (which means that they'd get into Round 3 for free...but then Round 3 would have three people...) or make one randomly selected person who wins their battle has to battle the extra person (which would suck for that one person but would allow Round 3 to go much easier since there'd only be two people left). Right now, I'm leaning towards the one randomly selected person has to battle twice solution. Any comments?
Yay, triple post! Anyway, Round 2 matchups are finished.
We've got three matches this round. First match is Me vs Doodle, winner moves on to the finals.
Blastotoise (Marley) will wait around and fight winner of the third match, with the winner of his fight going on to the finals.
The third match is needed to get rid of the odd number of people. It's Celebifly (chosen because she won her first battle by default) vs Silver (chosen by random dice roll). The winner of this match then has to fight Marely (because scheduling two seperate battles in one week could be tricky, if neccessary the round 2 deadline can be extended a little).

The first match was a whole lot of luck, you have to admit that, what with the critical hits and hypnosis working every single time. The other two battles were fine but that one was just kinda ridiculous...
The second match was a pretty good one and I managed to win despite a couple of lucky shots and the fact that my hold items seem determined to never work. The third match you still got kinda lucky but I think I could have won it if Palkia wasn't faster than Mew. Which kinda surprised me cause I never thought Palkia was all that fast.
Anyway, good match (or at least the second and third battles). Wish I had luck like that. Maybe my hold items would actually do something then. The Leftovers worked fine but other than that my Quick Claw activated once...and that was it. For all three battles. Just one shot with the Quick Claw and my Bright Powder, King's Rock, Scope, and Focus Band did absolutely nothing. Maybe I should switch all my guys to hold items that don't involve any luck...
