Oh, good! It's about time someone revived the Battles Thread!

Also remember that there are still two Shiny IPA in the Golden Fields thread. Now that more of you have badges, you might want to look into that.

Hmm... I usually wait for all the current wilds to faint before posting new ones... but we can't wait on Doodleshark forever. If he hasn't posted by tomorrow I'll release the next batch even if that Spearyena's still conscious.
"Irregardless" and "Over exaggerated" are NEVER CORRECT EVER because they are redundant
Regardless means "without regard", and adding "ir" on the front actually makes it a double negative; exaggerate means "to overstate" so you're literally saying "over overstate."
Example: I can not exaggerate the importance of this fact enough, regardless of how often people ignore it.

I've been thinking about this for a while; waiting on Doodleshark to post was reason enough to bring it up... It might be time to split the Wild IPA thread into a few different areas. There are getting to be a lot of participants in IPA, as well as a lot of IPA - exactly 40 first-stage IPA appear in the Wild IPA topic (and if you count evolved forms, exactly 40 in The Ocean) so it's getting difficult to rotate between them. I mean, of course I make a conscious effort to make some rarer than others (Like Raltey. Like six people have them already, so I'm trying to make less of them appear) but it's getting to the point that if I wanted to make any seem common, all the others would rarely be seen at all.

More than that, though, there certainly isn't an area in any game where over 40 different Pokemon could appear. I don't think there's any area with over 10. Especially not the type of Pokemon we're talking about... we've got Seedude, Buizeary, and Magneduo all living in the same place. I'm really not sure how that works out...

Obviously, any new areas wouldn't requitre a badge to post in like The Ocean or Golden Fields; the purpose here isn't to give more advanced players the chance to catch rarer or stronger IPA. This would be so we don't ever have to wait for one person to KO an IPA for the new ones to come, so people like Kisori won't end up having to fight a Skarsol unless they wanted to wait for all the current wilds to be KO'd, and so I can release new IPA without having to worry about the old ones not showing up for upwards to two months. Imean, I don't immagine the Buizeary like living with the Magneduo.

So, any thoughts? And if we do divide the Wild IPA topic, what kind of areas should there be? To think this madness all went on in one topic when it first started...

That seems a bit unfair, I guess.

I have a bunch of people with 5 wins, and most of you're are 8-13 wins.

If George can use Roost, I'll replace Gust for it.

Yes, George can use Gust. Until I get the updated TM lists up (which will... probably be a while...) you can just assume all Flying types can learn it.

See, the thing is I only have a couple of guys with somewhere around five wins (which are in that list), the rest of my guys either have a whole bunch of wins 15+ or none, which would be even more uneven. Although you're free to look at my sig site and try and figure out a group that you think would be more fair. If you do I'll consider it.

It was lonely... you promised you'd write to me, but you never did... the months passed by, and I still thought of you every day, but you never called. I never got any letters from you.

So eventually, I started to lose faith... I thought you had been killed in that terrible, terrible war. Or maybe that you had forgotten about me. It's been so long, you probably found another girl over there... I never stopped loving you, but I didn't think you cared about me anymore, so welcoming you back just would have been too painful for me... I'm sorry. I'm glad you've come back home *sniff*

I haven't updated it in a while... like, since before your Belldum evolved. I've been trying to get complete TM lists for at least some of the earlier IPA before I update it again, and I admit, I've been slacking off on it... that, and the HMs are a problem. I had Flash listed as an HM, see? And now it's just TM 70. So should I leave it an HM for the sake of consistency, or throw the R/S TM system away completely and go for the D/P way of doing things?

me wrote:umm, riptide only has three moves. why should it delete a move if it has space for one more move? Plus, I should get some IC because Riptide is holding a Star Dust Coin.
I decided to post this here because silver probably won't read the ocean thread.

What do you mean I won't read The Ocean thread...? I don't update IPA on weekends, so I'm not going to post there until Monday. Seriously, if you can't wait two days...

And what happened was, I accidentally put Water Gun on Riptide's attack list twice, so I saw four attacks, which means one would need to be deleted.

As for the IC, I don't exactly memorize who's got an SDC and who doesn't. I also don't bother looking through all the posts in a battle, since it's just a waste of time to go digging through all of them. I quote the one that gets the KO, and if I see "SDC" in there, you get the cash. If you've got an SDC, it's YOUR responsibility to remember and mention it in all posts of a battle, or at least the last one. As I've told Neo before.

If you want the IC from that battle, then fine, you get 15 IC.

hey silver, Iv'e been thinking. Kirleotto is made out of a pidgyotto and a kirllia. Kirllia can evolve into a Gallade if the kirllia is male. what I'm getting at is that, since you released D/P IPA, you should also do the branch evolutions as well. like, you should release some evolution stones so that the IPA can evolve, such as, say, Kirleotto. I would like to say that your Gallade/Pidgeot splice looks good.
