Looking Back:
There are two things wrong with this strip altough, unless you're a real Pokémon expert, you probably won't notice. First off, ariados aren't found in the Hoen region where Pokémon Ruby/Sapphire (and therefore Pebble Version) takes place. I knew that when I made the strip but Hoen doesn't have any spider type pokémon of its own so I had to change things a little for the sake of the joke. The second problem? Well, this was my mistake. It turns out that ariados are actually around three and a half feet tall. I didn't think it was that big at the time and didn't bother to check. Guess I should have used its unevolved form. So let's just say that this ariados is a baby. |
