Soul Dew basically gives Latios/Latias an insane SATK boost. As in, so insane that it's really not fair in a tournament situation.

Cheez, don't post your party list here. You need to PM it to me and include not only the pokémon you're using but also their attacks and hold items.

Hey, are certain attacks banned?

Also, are you going to post the teams? And their items and attacks? 'Cause I think that would take away from the fun, suprise part of the tournament.

All attacks are allowed.

I'm planning to post the team lists here right at the start of the tournament. Naturally, you don't have to read them if you don't want to since I know what you mean about the whole surprise. But I figured that since this is a long distance tournament taking place over a long period of time this would be the only way to prevent people from changing their teams around mid tournament (especially if someone already knows about their next opponent's team and decides to change their team specifically to counter it).

Or you could pm them to people after they're done-althought that takes much more effort, admittedly.

Aside from the effort, PMing after battles would make it a little harder for people to tell if their opponent is cheating. Although, I suppose if enough people want it that way I could switch.

And yeah, the current plan would be to post everyone's complete roster with attacks and hold items.

I, uh, don't think that that's a good idea. Hold items are okay, I guess. But I really don't want everyone to know everyone's attacks.

Also, I, uh, don't think anybody's going to cheat. Call me a gullible fool.

Anyway, the real reason I posted was to say that Silver's wi-fi connector is officially in the mail. I shipped it this morning, so it should arive circa monday.

Yeah, I kinda doubt anyone here would cheat either. Still, doesn't hurt to be careful. And, as I already said, just cause the list is there doesn't mean you have to read it. Although, like I also said, since this is the first tournament and we've still got some time before it starts I'm open to changing the rules a bit if enough people want to.

So, does anyone have opinions on Wobbuffet and/or the team lists being made public?

Teams yes. Attacks no.
What's the fun in that? Do Brendon and May say each others attacks before they started to battle? Do gym leaders say their attacks? 'Oh, don't use flying because my Dragonair knows ice beam!'

I aggree with Opal-suprise tactics are my main weapon, since I abhor legendaries, plus can't use Wobbuffet (even if you do rule for it, though I don't think you will at this point) due to the national dex thing which I just found out about.
