"Enough with the Tron references, let's just go." Josiah rolled his eyes and followed after Marley.

[Simeon]

The lion-thing was unable repress a smirk; this was a capable and competent warparty. This was simultaneously a good and a bad sign. Still, it was high time they left this whitespace and headed into adventure... whether they liked it or not.

"Light alive..." Simeon muttered as he shakily stood up to follow Marley and Josiah out into the forum proper, "I forgot how long I haven't used this avatar... walking on legs like these isn't easy." He took a couple more minutes to recalibrate his balance and took a few metered steps to catch up with the group.

{{Because I don't feel like waiting for everybody to walk through the door individually, and it is your only choice, and I'm going to bed, I'll just assume everybody goes through the door. If that's unfair, just post your dude didn't, although that seems odd.}}

Walking through the gateway, you look around to see a large park-type area, surrounded by mountains, with several pavilions scattered throughout. Each pavilion has a large banner strung across it reading "WELCOME TO THE PEBBLE VERSION FORUMS" The gate is still behind you. A human-looking figure gets up from a nearby pavilion and walks towards you.

"Well, it's certainly...interesting to see you all here. Welcome to the Pebble Version Forums. We've been doing some...redecorating around here. But before we get in to that, I suppose some introductions are in order. I'm Josiah, I'm more or less in charge here. I don't know how you found this place, but more people is always...interesting." he smiled. "And of course there's--"

"OH LET ME SAY HI TO THE NOOBS!" Came a loud, shrill voice, seemingly from above. You look up to see an enormous black bird circling overhead. The bird lands next to "Josiah." "WE'RE GOING TO HAVE SO MUCH FUN, HAHAHAHA!"

[Simeon]

Simeon was wisely at the back of the group, having taken some time to get out that tattered cloak out of his "gunny-sack of holding" and around his shoulders, discreetly pulling the cloak's hood over his feline head. This 'Josiah' character the gang encountered clearly wasn't the admin he'd grown to respect all those years ago, and just hearing the guy talk made his fur bristle. To the lion-thing's chagrin, he knew that being inherently a furry meant that one would have too many emotional tells, and he hoped that wearing his cloak would mask the majority of them.

Of course, there was no masking clapping his paws over his ears when that huge pigeot-wannabe made a shrill and excitable entrance.

[Josiah]

"Evil clones, seriously?" Josiah rolled his eyes. "Well, I suppose we did have the Shadows of Souls in ROM, and I did have an evil clone in a couple of Blooper Reel strips..."

He stepped to the front and addressed the doppelganger. "Hey, I'm the one in charge. You... I don't know what you are. But the suspicious dialogue says we're probably not going to get along."

[Silver]

"Well, yeah, the one that looks like you seems like he's a royal pain." Silverteased as he walked through the open door behind the others. "But check out this cool birdy guy! He seems pretty awesome, huh? I WANNA SAY HI TO THE NOOBS AND HAVE FUN TOO! HAHAHAHAHA!"

[Prancing Mad]

Matrix Kirby had walked near the back with Simeon. In the time he had taken to go through the door with them, he was working out what all he could remember about his avatar. He remembered that Matrix Kirby could pull pretty much any sort of weapon he chose out of thin air, as if it was in his 'inventory'. So as they walked into the room, the little pink puffball with black coat reached behind him, and proceeded to pull out an automatic shotgun. He looked it over and grinned, cocking the gun and slinging it over his 'shoulder' as they walked.

He looked around the area as they entered into the park area, glancing up at the welcome sign.

"This is seriously the weirdest thing..." He commented softly to himself as they walked.

Shortly after, Josiah 2.0 and Silver 2.0 had come forth, and spoke.

"... I take it back. THIS is the weirdest thing." He brought down his shotgun, holding it at the ready. He looked up at Josiah, who had been taking charge at the moment. "What do you think we should do about this?"

[Kaida]

Kaida followed Saber to the door and stood to the side as she opened it, preparing herself just in case. She moved through the door with the group into a large park-like area. Her ears pricked up and her tail went ridged as "Josiah" Spoke, then she cringed and her ears flattened as the shrill voice of Silver? maybe, screeched.

Edging over to Silver "I don't think you thinking of the same kind of fun Silver. I know its Neo's thing but can we have roast pigeot?" She said softly, not that she expected them to not hear. Chances are "Silver" at least would. Kaida had developed an instant, you wouldn't say dislike, but she was very weary.

[Simeon]

"No offense to our Silver but... roast Pidgeot actually sounds pretty tasty right about now." Simeon quietly responded to Kaida's question. Right then, the lion-thing's belly rumbled. "Come to think of it, we still haven't eaten."

[Saber Knight]

"Silver," cautioned Saber, "if I've learned anything from video games it's that people with a super sketchy dark colour scheme are not to be trusted." Here she paused and glanced over at Simeon. "Er, with some exceptions, I suppose." She then turned back to the inhabitants of the room. "And also don't trust a guy that speaks with too many questionable pauses."

Saber was exceedingly on edge. Her hand nervously went to the lightsaber (Wait, I have a lightsaber? Cool.) at her side. "But, then again, I guess we shouldn't jump to conclusions too quickly," Saber admitted after the talk of roast Pidgeot though her every instinct screamed evil evil evil this is a bad situation.

[Giga-Gar]

"Called it," Gar said. He knew those long hours on TV Tropes would be usefull someday. However, on the other hand, he did make one rather large mistake.

"But come on, maybe dark is not evil? I mean, they could just be lingering essences of us from the forums. We've stayed here long enough for that to happen, I suppose." He walked up to the dopplegangers and said to them, "Wow, I like what you've done to the place! I don't suppose all our old Intro topics are here as well are they?"

[Josiah]

"Yeah..." Josiah cast a worried look towards Gar. "I'd say about 99% of clones are evil and dark colors just about seals the deal."

The gunblade spun in his hand and stopped with the blade pointing at his clone self. "If you can convince me otherwise, go ahead. But either way, I want some answers."

[Stevenson]

The Josiahganger frowned. "I was rather hoping we could come to an understanding." he said, wearing a troubled expression. "To see you immediately turn to violence certainly doesn't bode well for your stay at these forums. But now is the time for introductions!" he raised his hand. Suddenly, a legion of what seemed to be robots with enormous dollar signs painted on their front. Josiah smiled. "We've had a rush of new members lately. Don't have very much to say, but they have their uses--as I hope you do."

The large bird looked annoyed. "Oh come on Josiah, they even guessed my name right! I think they've earned a prize, HAHAHA!" he spread his wings, a few feathers falling off. "IT'S AN INTRO, GUYS!!"

The three feathers turned in to an enormous Hot Dog with sunglasses and a cape, as well as muscular arms and legs, as well as a grumpy-looking fungal creature that oozed along and glowed, not to mention a rabid but fluffy dog.

non-Josiah smiled. "You'll have to excuse Silver. He's a bit of a character, but he helps keep order around here, you know. Where could Shauni be...?" he seemed to trail off. "No matter. After you've introduced yourselves to the members, feel free to take a look around the forums. We're always quite willing to accept new members." The two mysterious figures walked through a gate that seemed to appear from nowhere, and disappear just as quickly.

[Simeon]

Instinct gripped Simeon the moment the robots and random abominations materialized. He quickly dropped to all fours in a low feline combat stance and bared his claws in a single graceful move punctuated by the slight swishing of his cloak.

A focused and feral glint glittered in Simeon's eyes under the shadow of his lurker's hood. It had been a good long while since he had been in combat, and there was a part of him that was thankful that the edge was still honed despite years of disuse.

"Let's do this. Just point, Josiah-sama, and I'll tear these fiends into literal bits and bytes." the lion-thing growled, unable to hold back his old combat-borne glee.

[Blastotoise]

"OH BOY SIMEON HAS JOKES" Marley said as his bottle filled up quick drying insta-crete and ran towards the oncoming robot swarm
