What about Ghost pokemons?
They're not really living beings...more like undeads but not.

Can any ghosts learn electric attacks? Regardless, ghosts have energy of some sort which means there's probably some electricity in them.

Well, there is that new ghost that's Electric/Ghost. I bet ectoplasm can carry electricity in it.

I have uh, 2 things.

1. Is there a way to rename a pokemon after catching the pokemon like there was in the first one?

2. I'm looking for a Dratini or a Buizel... Um... Anyone wanna help me out with this? I'll return the favor somehow... Like, either trade or tell me where to get either of them would work.

You probably should have posted this in the D/P thread MK. But, anyway...

1. There is a name rater who can chance nicknames. Unfortunately, I can't remember where he is... He's in one of the tows you visit before the third gym but that's all I can remember.

2. Not sure about Dratini but you can catch Buziel outside the Wind Works.

This week's discussion:
When Gold/Silver/Crystal came out, they started 2 pokemon per day care and eggs were discovered.
But recently in D/P, they found out that no one has even seen a pokemon 'lay' an egg before, so no one really knows where they come from.
So the qestion is; Where do pokemon eggs come from, and how are they made?

Two pokemon decide they like each other and stay close, and when they've been together long enough (Not that long) an egg spontaneously appears. They are made of a very thin layer of stone that can only be broken by the baby pokemon.

I'm going to go with a more traditional theory (no real explanation needed I'm sure). As to why no one has ever seen a pokémon lay an egg, either everyone is too lazy to actually keep a 24 hour watch on the pokémon or the pokémon attack people to keep them away before they lay an egg.

And everyone knows eggs are the creation of ALIENS! Leaving two Pokemon in the Day Care place summons an ALIEN, they combine the two Pokemon's DNA, put them in an egg, and leave it there. How else do you explain Kangaskahn?

uhhhhhhhh. I guess they do---------. then the female lays the egg. possibly scarring the father for life if they are in the wild and mate for the first time.

The same way you can manage to grow a Neovorid with Ulaatian Spheres.
