Lash reached and grabbed a lyre. "Well, as long as I don't have to read music, I suppose." he chuckled lightly.

Raphael grumbled a lot. He didn't want to play a bloody instrument. It took a while, but he grabbed a violin.

"Pray I do not have to humiliate myself further..." he snarled. All at once, his ears perked up, and he grinned. It wasn't a happy grin. One might call it evil, or sadistic. Others could call it sad. With Raphael, it's hard to tell sometimes.

Silver just grabbed the first thing he saw, which happened to be a cowbell. "You never know when you'll need more cowbell."

The Da'kor just looked at it for a minute, trying to figure out who first decided it could be used as an instrument and what they were smoking at the time before asking, "So, um, once we're in... what do we do, anyway?"
"Irregardless" and "Over exaggerated" are NEVER CORRECT EVER because they are redundant
Regardless means "without regard", and adding "ir" on the front actually makes it a double negative; exaggerate means "to overstate" so you're literally saying "over overstate."
Example: I can not exaggerate the importance of this fact enough, regardless of how often people ignore it.

"We attack, of course." He said, leading his 'merry band' inside, up to the guards, doing some heavy convincing.

Tikawa just ignored what Gil said.

They were eventually led into the main scarlet hall, and put upon the stage. Raven glanced from side to side, to his 'band', and gave a slight nod. "Attack"

"That's the best thing I've heard all day!", Prexus howled. He quickly ditched the flute and grabbed his sword from his back, slashing through each soldier that was within his range.

Gil smiled, setting down the harp. "I agree...", he injected. With a fierce swing of his dragon tail, he knocked several soldiers away and probably did quite a bit of damage to them. He then drew his sword, rushing in to finish the job.

Artemis set the violin and bow aside, preparing to cast some necromancy. "Thief of Vitae!", she called, holding her hand forward. Many of the soldiers experienced a sudden gush of blood from within their bodies. Artemis was quick to draw her sword as they stood stunned from her attack.

Acantha leapt into the air, threw her guitar at a soldier, and hit him squarely in the head. With a feral grin, she launched herself at a different soldier, shifting smoothly into the form of a black wolf. Seconds later, the soldier was lying on his back, blood pouring from his throat, as the wolf snapped at another SC, leaving bloody furrows on his calves.

Aeria was slightly slower on the uptake. She flew upward until she was at the level of the chandeliers, then rained arrows down on the soldiers. They were easy to pick out due to their red clothing.

Lash was considerably weaker within an urban setting, although he did his best to hold his own. He did entangle a few soldiers with the roots of a nearby tree.

Raphael, while not as feral as Prexus, was also glad to have something to attack. He attacked very quickly, stabbing with daggers, blade-wheel, and hands when neccesary. He was a blur of black-fading in and out of shadows, grabbing weapons he had left in people or in the building, and using them again. He was also moving so fast, the soldier's could not track him. He threw his blade-wheel at a soldier, who was thus killed. Raphael smiled. Again, it wasn't a happy smile, or a manic one at the blood. It was a smile, simply, that said he was back in in his environ-one where he didn't have to think of anything but battle

For a moment, Silver sat there, staring blankly at their "merry band of musicians" causing the mansion to turn into a battle field. His observations were interrupted by a soldier attempting to attack him from the front... so he just bashed him over the head with a cowbell. "Whatever works, right?"

Raven's hands quickly ignited on fire and ice. He leapt into the air, launching a combination fire/iceball towards a group

Yektai quickly dropped a smokeball, and snuck away from the army, sneaking through the place, looking for the leader.

Tikawa merely stood behind the others, creating shields of light in front of those who were about to get hit by weapons, keeping them protected.

Prexus was easily able to follow Yektai's scent with his ultra-sensitve nose and soon joined his comrad in scowering the mansion for the leader of this band of scarlet soldiers. "I'm picking up a scent and I don't like what I smell... Maybe we should go back and get the others before trying to handle it ourselves?", he suggested. There was just a trace of fear laced within his voice. Perhaps he still hadn't completely recovered from being a slave to the SC for nearly a year. Whatever it was, it certainly wasn't at all like Prexus.

Gil was the first to notice it and quickly informed his comrads. "Hey, we seem to have lost two of our's! Let's finish these grunts and go look for them!", he called to the others, lashing out at two soldiers with his tail.

Artemis, who was staying near Tikawa, heard Gil and nodded. "Yeah, that sounds like a good idea to me!", she responded.

Acantha whirled, having taken out a few more soldiers. She blinked at Gil, then lifted her upper lip in a canine grin. "Sounds good," she replied in a slight growl. She dodged a soldier's sword and caught his forearm in her teeth. A sharp crack and a scream of pain. The man stumbled backward with a broken arm before she pounced on him and knocked him out.

Though slightly out of hearing range of her companions, Aeria was still able to get the gist of what they're planning. She shot another soldier in the chest, swooped down and hollered "I'm for it," at her allies, then flew back up, intending to follow them by air. The gust she created ruffled Acantha's fur.

"We aren't fighting him alone Prexus. He's here somewhere, and we're going to find him. Its always good to know beforehand where the bosses are." He said, walking up to a grand door. "This must be it."

Tikawa was watching Prexus as he left, so he turned to Artemis. "I know where they went." He watched the last soldier fall, then looked around. "I don't suppose anyone noticed that Raven disappeared as well?"

Raven had indeed disapeared. Though, he was found by Prexus and Yektai, walking up the steps to the door to the boss. He pushed open the door and walked in. "I've come to stop you, Father..." He said coldly, slammign the door shut.

Prexus' ears twitched lightly as he heard Raven's words. "Wait a minute... That mage just called him father. That's a real suprise...", he said, wincing as the door slammed. "Does that mean... we let him handle it?"

Inside the room, Dethrohan sat on his big chair. "Ah, my son. I see you have returned as promised...", he said, standing up and smirking. "And you've brought friends."

After the room had been filled with the bodies of the soldiers, Gil went to join Artemis and Tikawa. "So you know which way they went. Lead the way then.", he said to his fellow Dragonian.

Artemis nodded. "Yes... They might need our help... Maybe..."

Lash looked around. "We, er, seem to be missing somebody. Besides our wayward werewolf, that is. The other creature of the night has disappeared as well."

Raphael (as a shadow, no less) had been shifting throughout the house, looking for the missing members of the group: he didn't want to be betrayed, nor did he want something to happen without his knowledge. It was just now that he had found them, and they seemed to be staring down some person, probably the leader of the local scarlet crusade.

Aeria landed again now that there were no archers to stay out of range of. "So...we're looking for Raven, Prexus, Yektai, and...er...I forgot his name." She looked rather embarrassed.

Acantha had already reverted to her original form, wiping the blood from around her mouth. "Ugh, disgusting," she mumbled, spitting some more of the crimson liquid off to one side. The demon then turned her attention to her companions and waited, arms folded and looking around at the carnage around them as if it were nothing out of the ordinary.
