Alex put his hand on her check, feeling the warmth as he touched it. He then closed his eyes. "When you want to get married?"

"After all this is over.. I don't want to plan a wedding in the middle of a crisis.." Nikka replied, biting her lip. But she reached up, and held her own hand over his, smiling slightly.

"Ok. But what if I die? Then what? It might be awhile before this ends." Alex then thought of something, that made him smile. "How about doing it in 3 months from now. That should be plenty of time. Besides, I only have a few relatives and friends that will be coming. I can see that with your family as well."

Nikka bit her lip again. "Erm.. My family won't be coming.. you see.. they've all passed on.." she mumbled, looking away. They had all died a while ago, and her brother, the last realative she had, died within the last year.

"I'm sorry. I thought your brother was still alive." Shoot. I didn't know that at all. Her brother died just last year. That slipped my mind. Alex bent infront of Nikka, and looked into her eyes.

"No, he died in a car crash.." Nikka mumbled, glancing up. She held his gaze for a moment, then leaned forward and kissed him quickly. "It's not your fault.." she added when she pulled away.

"I guess not. Like when I told you about my sister. She was almost 22 when she died. I still miss her so much." A tear went down Alex's check. He put his right hand on his tattoo.

Nikka nodded, and sighed, remembering her selfishness. She had brought him away from his family, and she regretted that. She held out a hand, and brushed the tear off Alex's cheek. "I'm sorry..."

"It wasn't you. I'm the one that wants to be with her and my family. I only have my grandfather, and his family on my dad's side. And he was the one that said it was good that my parents died. It's like I don't have a family, just friends from school." Alex took Nikka in his hands and kissed her for the longest time.

Nikka blinked for a moment, and kissed him back. She knew why she hadn't let him go then, but she still felt bad.

"I just feel that things will change once peace has returned. We need to see if things turn out fine, or that we are fighting a pointless battle. Yet, these werewolfes are just asking for trouble, or trying to see that we need to die."

Alex moved his hand to her neck and kissed her again. Her sweet lips gave him an extra push as he guided her onto the bed. But Alex knew that wouldn't happen so he stopped and let Nikka back up.

"Sorry. I went too far."

"I-It's alright.." Nikka stammered, trying to organize her jumbled thoughts. His hand had left an invisible mark on her neck, and she sat up slowly, trying not to disorient herself further..

"If you want me to go on we can. It's up to you." Alex said as he stared into her eyes. He was calm, pulse normal, and heart rate average. Yet without Nikka knowing, his heart rate wasn't normal anymore.

Nikka bit the inside of her cheek in thought, and sighed. "I don't know.." she said quietly, still confused.
