I'm talking about when Recon Dye and Josiah were working on the comic(Pokémon-X) together and P-X has a timeline and Josiah why hate Recon when you can just be friends.

Hi! Where the heck did you hear that? Recon and I never worked on a comic together and we barely know each other. I've never had anything to do with PX and he's never had anything to do with PV. They're completely seperate comics that were created independently of each other (I didn't know Recon or PX existed until a little while after I launched PV). My entire relationship (if you can call it that) with Recon boils down to him and some of his fans flaming PV and accusing me of copying his comic (which I don't read), me replying and proving that our comics are very different and I'm not copying PX, and them agreeing and leaving me alone for a while before eventually starting flaming again. We ran through that cycle three times, with the last one taking place several years ago. Since then, things have been pretty quiet, other than the occasioanl anti-PV flame posted here and there by Recon and/or various PX fans. I don't hate Recon, though I do find it annoying that he continues to let his fans flame PV and accuse it of copying PX and even joins in from time to time. I, on the other hand, dislike flaming of all kinds and, even in the midst of the worst of PX's anti-PV flame wars, actively encouraged my fans to stay out of it and not flame PX. I go into more detail about all of this in my response to that PM you sent me

Not sure what you're talking about in relation to a timeline. I know that PX launched before PV and have never said otherwise. Though I didn't learn about PX's existance until after PV launched. In addition, I created the first five PV strips, which were fowarded to various people I knew as a "test run" months before PV launched. I think I think they were made even before PX launched (not that it really matters, since Recon probably started early as well and made his first strips long before mine).

Long story short. Recon and I never knew each other very well and never worked together. From the little big I've read, PV and PX have virtually nothing in common (aside from being based on the same game). I don't read PX because I personally don't like the humor style (I read a little bit, decided that I didn't really like it, and stopped), though I'll say that, from the little bit I've seen it seems to be a well made comic (in terms of art and all that). I don't hate Recon and have never flamed PX. All my e-mails and forum posts to Recon and his fans have been polite and cordial (which I can't say about many of theirs to me), if occasioanlly rather exasperated because they won't stop with the occasional falmes and accusations of copying PX. Since I hate flaming and don't want to waste my time and energy putting out another stupid flame war, my general policy for the past few years (since that stupid Halloween comic thing was more or less resolved) has been to ignore PX, focus on my own comic, and hope that they keep their flaming to a minimum.

With that taken care of... My team and I are going to be demoing the current build of Car Washer at school today. The sound isn't in yet, and it's still got a decent amount of bugs to deal with, but the demo is playable complete with all items, enemies, etc.

Well I think both comics are great and i've been a member of P-X since 2005 and the guy with 50% warning due to a misunderstanding and I think both forums can get off on a fresh start with each other.

Meat exam? What, like, an exam purely about....meat? The phrase "meat exam" kind of seems like a creepy, supernatural death exam to me, but I'm glad you passed regardless.

Looking back at that post now I guess it does sound like that. Anyways the full name of it is "Select, Prepare and Cook meat". Although it probably still sounds creepy anyway when you look at it like that.

Hey! I'm done with my crappy homework, so now I'm working on my new sprite comic. Even though I really hate Naruto, I was once a fan of it and so I probably know enough for the comic. I will forever and always be a DBZ and Bleach fan, however.

Well, we get tomorrow off, but I have to play at two services for marching band. Probably playing taps.

In other news, we got a test back in bio. I'm really excited because, as far as I know, I got the top grade. It's been higher than anyone else I talked to, and most of my friends are top of the class as well. I was really surprised that a buch of kids said they did poorly... it was multiple choice, and I thought it was pretty easy. Got a 60/62, and it's a point system and each is worth 1.5 points, sooo.... 90/93 points. :D . I really needed a good grade like that.

Photos from marching band MICCA finals are also online. Heh. I look wicked short.... which I'm not, I'm about average height, but the other 4 kids in brass are all guys, and all taller than me, so in the brass photo I look real short.... lovely .

Hi! It's been a long day. Spent the morning catching up on online stuff and doing chores, the afternoon bug testing and showing off the latest build of my game (coming together very nicely, but still have a bunch of bugs that need to be fixed), the evening hanging out with a friend and now, at night, an extra long anime club meeting to finish off all the shows we've been watching. Not to mention that I need to stop messing around online (like I'm doing now) and get around to writing up the Ink post for tomorrow's PV update.

To Missingno... As I said, I've got nothing against PX, Recon, or the PX forum members as long as they don't flame me or PV. That said, PV and PX use very different styles of humor. Even though I think PX looks to be a well done comic (from the little I've seen), it uses a humor style that I'm simply not fond of. And, from what I've heard, Recon doesn't like PV's humor style either. So, even if he and his forum members have all stopped with the flaming and accusations (which they might have, it's been a while since I've run into any new ones anyway) I can't really see us becoming all "buddy, buddy" either. Though I guess I would still be up for a link exchange if he wanted to (and takes down that stupid Halloween comic). In the end, I think it's best if he works on his comic, I work on mine, and we just leave each other alone (which is what I've been trying to do all along). Of course, I've got no problems with fans of both comics (such as yourself) joining these forums or anything like that.
