Please, if you are a woman of around 21-25 and your doctor offers you a smear test, take it. Cervical cancer isn't really a well know caner, but it’s just as deadly as breast cancer. As soon as you are able, get checked for it.
In the UK, we are only offered this test at 25, Jade died at the age of 27-28.

Hi! Some one was trying to hack my laptop yesterday during anime club. They kept failing (thank you Norton) but I eventually got tired of the continued attempts so I killed my network connection entirely. I did get the IP address though so I'm gonna report him/her to IT and see if they can track down the culprit.

Ah...Girl Scouts is all....making my life annoyingly more complex at the moment.
The Silver Award. All I need to do is do that stinkin' 40 hour project, but everything I come up with only has like 20 hours. Arg! It's ANNOYING!
In other news, I made freshmen softball. Whoo. No one got cut, so there are gonna be...17 people on the team, I believe. Oh, and apparently 3 freshmen made varsity and I'm just really bad at paying attention.
We also got a new car a few days ago. That was pretty exciting. Our old car just kinda went "gar! I don't work anymore!" and I was all "FINALLY!" 'cos we've needed a new car for quite some time now.

"Irregardless" and "Over exaggerated" are NEVER CORRECT EVER because they are redundant
Regardless means "without regard", and adding "ir" on the front actually makes it a double negative; exaggerate means "to overstate" so you're literally saying "over overstate." Example: I can not exaggerate the importance of this fact enough, regardless of how often people ignore it.

Nab, that's tough. I could only watch about 1.30 seconds of it. I mean, they were talking about invading Canada! Then they said they could only get away with "not having an army" because they shared a border with "the most powerful country in the universe". Costa Rica hasn't had an army for decades, and people admired them for this.

Wheneve I hear "I hate Mondays" I think of Shrek 2 when Puss in Boots is drinking milk, slams it on the table and is all "I hate Mondays." I then think of that one Easter at my second cousin's house when all of the kids (and by kids I mean the eldest was probably a freshman in high school at the time) at the kids table (we got to sit in anuzzer room, we're just that awesome) were slamming our glasses of milk down and going "I hate Mondays."

I just watched that Fox video on Canada. This is just plain ignorance and American arrogance. Canada "shares a border with the most powerful country in the universe!" Canada "is not a smart culture." "Canada's doing what most of Europe does anyway, which is just rely on U.S.A.?"
This would make a great comedy show, except most people actually believe this fecal matter they're shoveling. Seriously, shouldn't these people get fired for this, and the constant blatherings they dish out every single day? Bah, they should be taken out the back and shot.

As for the video, I'd guess that they most likely meant it as a joke. Fox News isn't one of those stations that just reads the headlines all day, they've got lots of different shows (at least my TV guide shows a whole lot of different shows, I rarely watch any TV news) so some of them could be comedy. *Shrugs* Even if they were serious (in which case it was going too far), it's not like all the other news stations aren't biased as well (though they're not as blatantly obvious about it).
Anyway, I've got to hurry through scoring posts and get back to work. There's a good chance I won't be on much (if at all) tomorrow so I'll post when I can.
Just watched the video...it's terrible. I can't believe they would say stuff as stupid as that.
And, as usual, I should be doing my homework. But, I'm not. Go figure.
Only a few more days 'til DI Regionals....I really hope we make it to States (and Globals, of course), but my hopes aren't too high this year. After all, our team is composed of 3 freshmen and two 8th graders and we'll be against seniors. Gonna be tough.
Had a bizzare-o dream last night having to do with DI Regionals as well. Go figure. Maybe I'll write it up after I finish my homework. Or maybe I'll use it to procrastinate. Either way.

Yes... I read about t3h Fox video yesterday in the n00zpaper, and as proud citizen of Soviet Canuckistan I am offended and stuff. O-Town rage!!!
Anyways, Left 4 Dead is a great game, although I wish it had more content. Luckily the upcoming Survival Pack should give it some more legs, and Valve will hopefully update it frequently as they currently do with Team Fortress 2. PC 4evar!!!
