I'm pretty sure that the Si Wong desert isn't Fire Nation territory yet, though you might have come from a smaller desert that the Gaang hasn't visited yet. Anyway, openings are closed and we can get the RP underway.

I was gonna have two characters, one a non-bender from the Foggy Swap Tribe and a firebender from the fire nation. Since the group does get a firebender when Zuko changes sides in the third book...

Oh, and do we know each other? If we don't, my character doesn't really have any reason to go into the desert, except possibly escape bounty hunters and such.

Also, I meant that I was raised by sand benders, but born in an Earth kingdom. I forgot to go back and change my nationality. Sorry for that.

It's ok, but the possibility of sandbenders outside of the Si Wong desert is a little slim. However, there still might be deserts aside from Si Wong. Also, hardly anyone knows each other aside from BFC and Mandi's characters, so yeah, the only reason to go into the deserts is to escape from bounty hunters or get some money.

Also, can some people please post? I don't want this to die right after it just got started.

Well, it's either that or we go nowhere. I know that my character can just bend wind into the sand-skiff sails, but seriously, do you expect him to do that when he's being hunted by people who want to kill him?

I have 3 solutions.
1) BFC becomes a sandbender and is Mandi's brother.
2) BFC doesn't become a bender and Mandi gets to be a bender.
3) Phonox gets to be a bender instead of BFC.
3a) Phonox also becomes Mandi's brother.

Ok, just change your character info and you're all set. Also, Bataar doesn't have an arrow. Only the monks had that, and with the way things are right now, an arrow would be very conspicuous, so... yeah.

Okay, let's sort this out really quick.

If BFC is a bender, he has to be a sand bender and Mandi's brother.
If Mandi is a sandbender, she's not related to either of us.
If I'm a bender, I have to be her brother.

Well, I suppose the RP is on hiatus until we sort this out. We could make a few vague posts introducing our character and explaining why we're here.

Well, you don't have to be Mandi's brother. As I said before, you could be from a smaller desert, thus justifying you being a sandbender. What I'm going for in this RP is the build up of trust and friendship. Think about it. There is a 50 year war going on that shows no sign of stopping, most of you are being hunted down by the Fire Nation and can trust no one, and you must be suspicious of everything.

My character is posing as a researcher and is looking for a group for an expidition into the desert for an unknown reason to your characters. Therefore, he has no arrow like the monks and is dressed up in standard Earth Kingdom clothes.

I should have said this earlier, but I want a decent backstory for your characters. Everyone here is good except for BFC. His info is very brief and pretty unbelievable. Unless he decides to be Mandi's brother, he's going to have to make some drastic changes to his character.

So yes, we should put the RP on hold untill everything is sorted out. I shouldn't have started it without doing so already.

Would anyone object to me asking a mod to lock the RP untill we get things straight?

Well, if I am a sandbender, I'll have to be like Garra. You know, giant gourd of sand and what not. Then again, I could have a compartment in my sickles and sythe.
