Round 1: Fairly Ordinary Tropical Island

Neo shrugged his shoulders and stepped though the portal after the rest had went though. He quickly found himself on the beach. He could see 2 members of the group not too far away. "Well the strange alien said portal out would be afew miles anyway. Straight sounds good to me." Neo started to walk to the East Jungle.

*As Rachelle neared the West Jungle she could hear a cacophony of strange animals cries drifting towards her. The jungle itself was a thick tangle of trees, vines, and other plantlife, all in a variety of sizes and colors. Pushing through it would be possible but difficult. However, there is a small path that leads inside.*

*The eastern part of the beach didn't hold any special features but Neo did pass several palm like trees, each of which had some of the odd square fruit laying on the sand at its base.*

Now realizing that he was starving, Neo noticed the square fruit near a tree. He aproached them and looked at them for abit. He poked on with a nearby stick. They seemed soft. Neo picked one up, dusted the sand off, and took a small bite. He just hopped it wouldn't be his last.

*The fruit was a bit harder than Neo had thought but but sweet and seemed to be perfectly edible.*

Neo ate several of the fruit til he had enough and begain to walk again. After abit of walking Neo entered the East Jungle.

*The East Jungle was full of towering trees, vines, and odd looking plants. The brush was thick but not so thick that someone couldn't force their way through. A worn path started at the beach, going a few yards into the jungle then forking, one north, one east, and one west. Strange sounds, most likely bird and animals cries, echoed through the jungle.*

Rachelle pushed threw the forest, making her way through the path. It was rather difficlt carrying her wrench.
"Ugh! This is so, stressful!" She cried, heaving the wrench.

After a few yards, she came across a kinda purple-y looking flower. "I....I think this is mauve...." She flexed out her fingers, twitching them. The flower twittch as well.

"....cool." She smiled.

*Rachelle noticed that there were a lot of the mauve flowers nearby, including some rather large ones. Just then there was an ear splitting screech and a strange creature appeared in a nearby tree, glaring down at the girl. Long, shiny, and blue, it almost looked like a snake at first glance. Almost... The feet and beak were definately things that snakes didn't have. Continuing to screech menacingly, it crawled down the trunk and headed toward Rachelle.*

(I shall name it a Bhalk!)

"Oh -beep-" Rachelle cried as the bhalk slithered, erm, wlaked towards her. She wanted to yell for help, thinking another cutestants will help her, but she was unable to say a peep.
Taking in a deep breath, she turned to a bigger flower, stretching out her fingers, and moving the petals. With a fierce yank, several flower petals surronded the bhalk. She tightened her grip and the flowers squeezed the bhalk to death.
"Holy..." She took in a deep bretah as the petals withered away.

Neo didn't quite know what way to go. So after thinking abit Neo dug out his computer that he was carrying and pulled up a d4 dice on the screen and rolled. 4 would be a reroll. 1,2,3 would be the 3 paths infrount of him. Neo rolled. A 1 showed up. Neo put away his computer and headed North.

*The jungle got steadily darker as Neo headed north, more and more light being blocked out by the trees. After a while he heard the sound of running wate. A bit further he came across a wide river. It was fast and rocky but didn't appear very deep. A lot of stones, smooth and slippery, poked above the surface, offering a possible path across. The path appeared to continue on the other side.*

*The monster that had attacked Rachelle appeared to be dead the number of screeches and strange cries in the area seemed to intensify...*

Neo came to the river and stopped. After looking around he saw that he could cross by jumping on the rocks. He would have to be careful as they were wet and falling in would be very bad for his computer. But Neo's mouth was dry and he bent down (after placing this computer nearby) and drank from the river. Then he dunked his head in to cool off. He stat down and planned his next move.

Kaida watched as the wind died down and Silver fell back to the ground.
"Okay, then you wont need any help" She said Smiling. She then looked over to where the beach became the jungle and saw what she thought looked like one of the brown fuzzy aliens from earlier.
"Squeee" She said in a high-cheerful voice, and without even thinking that it might not be one she folded up the umbrella and ran off into the jungle looking for it.

Silver was blown up into the air, saved only by his pwnful giant carp. A seemingly hyper girl asked him if he needed help, but he didn't respond because he was too busy trying to figure out how to get not flat again. He wouldn't get very far if every wind knocked him off his feet, no matter how much fun it was.

Once he managed to regain his depth, Silver chased after Kaida because everyone else seemed to have wandered off already. "Hey, wait up!"

Rachelle heard as the noises erruptured.
"This can't be good..." She gulped. For security, she gathered some mauve petals incase she got into trouble again.
She continue down the path, keeping an eye out for anymore Bhalks.
