well, I'm saying that if you have skin that a ghost could envy, you should use strong sunscreen if you are doing something outside for a long period of time, such as mowing the lawn, or washing the car. but, if you don't go outside often, the only skin cancer you need to worry about is the one with the irregular moles. please go easy on me if I started a contraversy.

Konnichiwa.
I don't know exactly what is up with my skin, but I don't recall having gotten a sunburn before. 'Cept maybe that one time at my Chinese School's Olympics thing. Which was so long ago I don't remember it anyway. :/
I don't use sunscreen very often either, something that drives my mom nuts. :D

Now he's TOO apologetic.Gardialvoir wrote:well, I'm saying that if you have skin that a ghost could envy, you should use strong sunscreen if you are doing something outside for a long period of time, such as mowing the lawn, or washing the car. but, if you don't go outside often, the only skin cancer you need to worry about is the one with the irregular moles. please go easy on me if I started a contraversy.
Listen, if you go around to people saying, "God hates you", or, "you're going straight to hell", people will get upset.
Reccomending that somebody should use sunscreen is not that bad. So, yeah.
So, I played heroclix today...Dr. Strange=pwn.

Yo. I'm now going to change the subject by telling everybody that I own a lobster plushy, and that I hate Microsoft for creating Vista and then releasing Halo 2, Gears of War, and Bioshock for the PC, but only for VIsta users. That being said, I neither have an X-box 360, nor can I afford one, and my computer doesn't have enough space to run Vista.
Did I mention I own a lobster plushy? I call it Pinchy.

Sorry guys...I've gone to the Harry Potter side.....
In a few weeks after I settled down with school and such, I'm starting a Harry Potter role play. I already got a character. She's in Ravenclaw (I sorted myself out over a dozen times and I'm a Ravenclaw >>) and instead of an owl, she has a Seagull called Amadaus. I still just gotta give her a name.

Konnichiwa.
Gee, four minutes earlier and that would've been "Ohayou." Ah well.
I just recently rediscovered the joys of flamenco music. :D My dad's colleague had lent him a CD of the stuff, and I love it. :3

Sorry for ignoring this site for most of the week. Two AP classes and a job and marching band... I'm an idiot for trying to do that all at once, but I'd rather not quit any of them.
Reviving a topic I didn't get say in:
I hate John Steinbeck's works, or at least the ones I've read. "Of Mice and Men" was rather mediocre, I thought, and "The Red Pony" has to be the worst book I have ever read. But that's just my opinion. Is "Grapes of Wrath" any better? Most of my family said no, but they're as biased as I am.
WOO! NO CANCER! Congrats Artemis! Strange moles run in my family so I'm going to have fun with that too probably.
Speaking of which, Mom professed her fear of knives to the dermatologist, who were going to "take a few off" (twenty, most likely) to examine, and they responded, "we don't use knives, see, *pulls out strange utensil* they're more like cookie cutters." Does anyone know how that's better?
Yes, a little bit of sun is good for you. In fact, it's the best way to get vitamin D which boosts your immune system (along with a bunch of other stuff). In fact, it helps boost "anti-tumor activity". How about that, Sun ray's help prevent cancer. Oi. I'm starting to feel like I'm spouting random facts now.
Also, the pigments that make you tan protect you from UV rays, so tanning isn't entirely bad for you. Yep. I'm spouting random facts. I'm going to stop now and go play video games so I can rot my brain some more.
