We once played a Lord of the Flies version of Mafia in my English class last year. My teacher was the narrator. I lived. I think. But the ones who died all fell off a cliff or in other unimaginative ways. I guess she had to make it school-appropriate.

I finally started watching Lost (had a chance to get the Season 1 box set for 40% off so I figured why not?). So far it's interesting but I've only watched three episodes.

You would be correct. It is pronounced with a long i sound.
