Yes, I've seen nothing but god-moding come from having mind-reading powers. It's not that I don't trust Neo, I just really don't like that concept... sorry, no mind-reading. It's outlawed in out guild on neopets as god-moding, and I like it that way...
"Irregardless" and "Over exaggerated" are NEVER CORRECT EVER because they are redundant
Regardless means "without regard", and adding "ir" on the front actually makes it a double negative; exaggerate means "to overstate" so you're literally saying "over overstate."
Example: I can not exaggerate the importance of this fact enough, regardless of how often people ignore it.

As RP Mod, I do have my say.
While I do frown on using Mind Reading for interrogation purposes, I do allow it for advancing plots. So Neo may have LIMITED Mind Reading- Limited being that he can hear thoughts, but he cannot scan minds for truth or intent.
EDIT: and to add to the limitations, I propse that the thoughts have to be repeated in the target person's mind in order for it to be heard or sensed.
Is this savvy?

Well, I suppose mods do have rights. And I suppose with those limitations it would be okay. Although I propose one more thing- Neo can not listen for thoughts. He can only hear thoughts accidnetally, at any random time. That may have been what you meant, but I thought that I may want to clarify.

I still really HATE mind reading powers, but you're the mod here... Meh, I'll give 'em to Neo because I appreciate that he's already planning to be a gym leader and not ANOTHER league champion. But you do anything to screw it up and they're gone!

simeon, in all fairness this is Silvers RP, but as he has already agreed with you I won't push the issue.Simeon wrote: As RP Mod, I do have my say.
As for Neo being psychic, I think it fits in with the pokemon world due to the "psychic" trainers in pokemon.
I also think we should cap the number if people aloud to join, as there are already allot of characters
"BOW BEFORE THE SHAUNINESS THAT IS SHAUNI! "--Shadowman
"Shauni fell down a drainage ditch and died. That was the end of her pokemon journey. "--Shauni

True, but I think we should hold off on that as Josiah said he would join a bit later on.

Well, we can wait until tomorrow, right? It'll be easier for me, anyway... Heh heh, my mommy says I don't have to go to school tomorrow since I just finished the mid-terms and we're not doing anything important. So, um, I'll use those six hours to post something.

Actually, Silver, I was planning on either roleplaying Louanne or roleplaying her daughter or something. XD I just needed to know how long this is so that Louanne can actually HAVE a daughter...Don't want any eighteen-year-old moms or something, do we? *shifty eyes*

Should I...oh whatever. /o/

Meh Siggy Site

I don't have an actual number of years, because I don't know when XD happened in relation to when R/S/E and the like happened.
And you can use Louanne, just not THE Louanne. Not the same one from the guild, I mean, mostly because only a few people here know who she is and stuff. Like, an alternate reality; identical twin, different dimension. And a Pokemorph really wouldn't work here, as I mentioned earlier.
Oh yeah, and...

Simeon, the LAST thing I want the mind reading powers used for is advancing the plot. We should not and WILL not need them to do that; we should (and will!) be able to do that on our own, like we have in many other RPs. It's much more fun to make your characters do things the hard way XDI do allow it for advancing plots.

...
Fwee? XD
I'm gonna miss her wings...
Let's see...
I think I'll just make up and roleplay her daughter. I mean, Louanne IS more human than Pokemorph. That's the only reason why she can still train, anyway. It's supposed to cause a 'morph intense pain to touch a Pokeball. Coming into contact with a Master Ball could kill them...I'll stop ranting now.
Hm...Time to think up some completely random name again. Fwee.
And I know G/S/C happened years after R/B/Y, since 'Red' is practically an adult. I'm guessing more years pass between G/S/C and R/S/E, which makes it even longer to PC, and even longer to XD. So I suppose we can safely assume Louanne can have a daughter...
Wait a sec. In what time period do the guild roleplays take place, anyway? oo

Gah, I don't know! It doesn't matter. It's not related to the guild roleplays... Different website, different dimension, different... well, everything.
