ROM 4: New Horizons

Metalmorph set out to explore the boat as he'd never been on one before. Neo let him do it on his own. Neo was out on the deck on the other side of the boat from Shauni. Tsuekasa walked up to Neo and struck up a conversation. Soon both of then were talking up a storm and talked about everything it seem that related to this world. And some of Neo's world too. Neo didn't ever remember having such a deep converstaion with her. It was unnatural to him as he tryied to avoid much talking with her. The more they talked though, the more Neo's feeling for her grew. Then Neo made an excuse and withdrew himself. He needed to stop. He couldn't keep this up or it'll wind up one day he'll leave and he would hate to have strong fellings for anyone of this world and go back miserabble for the rest of his life. He must not get too attached to her. But yet he was. He couldn't explain it but ever since she showed up it seemed like all his effort of the past was for not.

He was falling more for her. Yes he had liked her when he first came here but kept his distance and only told her grandfather his true felling for her and he so far has kept them to himself only. Neo tried to shake the felling from him but with not much success. Now he also longed to go back to his village. He decided to go find Josiah and see what their plans were.

Soon he found him talking to Virgo. "So Josiah, what are our plans once we reach my lands?"

The Guardian sat in a tree, looking out to sea.

"Master... they are coming. At last the tale will be told one last time."

With a mighty leap, augmented with his black feathered wings, the Guardian landed in the clearing where the children sat about quietly. There, little Mahri was playing with her new toy, a stuffed lion plushie. She had fashioned a pair of wings from leaves and tied the wings to the plush lion's back and had her new toy play with the little figurines her Guardian had made earlier in the week.

AeroBreaker craned his enormous head through the trees, "Friend. Are you ready?"

"I am preparing, AreoBreaker." was the Guardian's reply to the great Dragon, "But my first concern is the children."

Mahri smiled as she fashioned armor out of sticks and grass and had he lion plushie wear it.

"RAR!" she exclained with a wide and happy smile as the lion plushie attacked the figurines of baddies she asked her Guardian to make earlier that day.

The Guardian chuckled.

"Ah finally they make their way over. I've been tired of waiting for them. Soon very soon they will find sorrow and death. Soon...

And the Guardian will be leaving soon. All the peices are almost ready. They fun will begin soon."

Opal stayed quite quiet during the trip. She was too busy worrying about Lopa. She wondered if she was ever going to reach Onett. Though it wasn't important at the time, she would of liked to go sooner than later.
"Midori Fedora..." Opal mumbled the name.

(The only post I could think of to keep myself alive in this role play ;3)

unknown to Opal, Shauni had come up behind Opal and spoke aloud, making Opal almost fly from her seat
"Midori Fedora is the best priestess on this continent. I went to her after my curse, she's the one that told me about the Ivy staff...she was also able to make me a little more stable. before I talked to her my light and dark sides changed every 20 minutes or so."
With that she turned and walked away, only leaving one more comment
"Lopa will be purified, and as long as its in a card its not any real threat. You should stop worrying about it."
She turned around, a huge grin on her face
"I just had an idea. How about a little monster battle, I never did face you at the arena."

*Josiah and Virgo were standing together near the front of the boat when Neo found them.*

"Plans?" *Josiah looked up.* "Well your village is pretty close to the shore right? So we may as well head there first. After that, we'll probably just do what we usually do on journies like this."

"And that is?" *Being one of the newer members of the group, Neo didn't know what Josiah meant.*

"We play it by ear." *He shrugged casually.* "At least until we know more about the current situation. Besides, the bad guys usually find us easily enough. No point in wasting all our time looking for them."

"That's the whole plan?" *Neo was looking a bit dissapointed.* "You don't have anything else?"

"Well, I wouldn't say that. I've got some ideas. But I need to find out more about the new continent and our enemies before I come to any decisions."

"Me?" Opal looked around to see if Shauni was adressing her.

"Ofcourse I mean you." Shauni giggled.

"Alright than. How about one on one? Something nice a quick." Opal shrugged. "Go, Ram!" She sent out her monster.

Silver sat by the rear of the boat, watching the water disappear behind them and a large, plesiosaur like monster swim alongside the ship. It was Nessy, of course; the water and ice typed monster could easily keep up, and had only come out of the card for battle (and being so large, the battlefield hardly offers much room to move around) for quite some time. The beast was enjoying the trip, although Silver clearly wasn't. "Bored..." he mumbled, half asleep at this point. How long had they been going? What, five minutes? Sometimes I wish someone'd just throw a shoe... er, the point is, I'm still suffering from a terrible case of writer's block here. Seriously! I need help!

Shauni had a vast grin on her face.
"I summon Balance!"

The huge twin headed dragon emerged in a overlay dramatic light display
"Yo SILVER! Wanna referee?" she called over to the bored looking young man

"Near the shore? Well if you are talking ocean on the other side of the new lands then ya. The mountains are a good 4 day travel by air and a good few week by land unless you ride something then it's about week trip. Why I was put so far away from the rest of the world is a mystery. I guess the hacker had some ideas about the area that I never knew about."

The not fully concious Silver walked over to the gigantormus lizard that somehow fit in the back of the ship without any platform or convenient plot device or anything! "Alright! Let's get this started! Ram, use Lightning hornss!" Opal ordered her creature.
Ram's horns started to eletricfy as he ran up to Balance to give the attack.

Ram's attacks:
Lightning Horns-His horns become electric and has to hit the opponent to make it effective
Sand Tornando-A tornado made of sand appears
Rock Drop-Rocks drop right out of the sky
AC/DC-Just like Thunder Wave
Electrical Earthquake: An earthquake with lightning bolts

Ram's horns started to eletricfy (sp?) as he ran up to Balance to give the attack of 'Lighting Horns'.

Shauni gave no order as Ram got closer and closer, its horns producing more and more attacks. Just as ram reached the floating (ha! Take that plot device!) creature, Shauni yelled in a bellowing voice
"Use Priestess in Hellfire!"
The two dragons heads symultatiusly (sp?) produced white and black fire, flowed in circles around Balance until it was engulfed in grey flames.

Ram's electricity struck the Grey, fiery shield and was deflected around the dragon, missing its body.

Shauni yelled again "obliterated dark moon!"
The dragon suddenly burst threw the flames, its jaws wide open as dark energy gathered.
It shot with blinding speed towards Ram, attempting to bash and them clam it.

"Quick! Use rock drop!" Opal cried.
Ram did not post haste as rocks fell, but created a wall to protect himself from the attack.
"Better paralyze them. Ram, use AC/DC!" Ram shot an eletrical current at Balance that made them paralyzed for the time being.
"Now, Sand Tornado!"
Ram summonded up a sand tornado that whizzed right at the twin dragon.

The dragon fired waves at the ram, pushing back its attack towards it as well as its own
