Return of the Revenge of the Son of Saying Hi to Josiah!
Re: Return of the Revenge of the Son of Saying Hi to Josiah!
Hi! Not a big fan of shorts, myself. But my unless I'm going swimming or to a wedding or something, I pretty much always wear blue jeans, a t-shirt (short or long sleeve depending on the weather), and my FFVIII Lionheart pendent. If it's cold, I'll wear a jean shirt or jacket over it. My mom and brother (the self proclaimed fashion expert) keep bugging me to dess fancier but I avoid doing so as much as possible.

Hmm... Interesting... not a word saying hi to me... I feel like a ghost ._. Hihi! I've started a new.... project... heh. This time it's gonna be an RS Help/walkthrough/ext. site so me and the rest of the clan are gonna be really busy working on is for awhile, but I'll make sure to get on and up-date here... daily, or something like that... anyways, umm... oh!
Gosh Josiah, that sounds like a kinda inconsiderate book store :/ I'd have asked her to get it for me, and then if she did nothing walk away and look else where :/ but if I had worked there, I'd have gotten it at the first mention of it, but I guess that's just me...
Bye!

Re: Return of the Revenge of the Son of Saying Hi to Josiah!
Hey.
My usual wardrobe:
T-shirt (almost all of which are short sleeve)
Jeans (baggy shorts in the summer)
Sweatshirt jacket (maybe subtract the sweatshirt in the summer)
My hat
Moon necklace
Two thread braclets I made at camp on one wrist, and two hair elastics on the other
However, my mom's being all "BLEH" and I'm all "AAAH" and that's basically how it went down. Meh. We'll see.
Had the day off today due to finals (or lack thereof, in my case). New semester beings tomorrow... I have the same lunch as a few of my friends, but not as many as were in my lunch this past semester... :'( . Oh well... and enriched pre-calc... ugghhh... I've been told it's wicked hard... :(

Hi! If there weren't other books I wanted at the store, I may have pressed the issue. Anyway, I ended up getting it off of Amazon (for less money too) so I could get free shipping on that screwdriver I need to open up my DS.

I know how you feel NG, but a hiatus of 15 days isn't long here, we usually start worrying at three months. Yeah, my family has been trying to get me to dress better for years. I dress baggy because if I grow any I won't have to buy more clothes. I'm not interested in romantic involvement anymore, and I have good clothes for when I need to make an impression, I don't really understand why it's necessary to dress up otherwise. Although, when I feel really good, I dress up because it makes me feel ridiculous, and when I feel ridiculous, I act ridiculous. That last sentence was totally not a reference to Steve Martin, that I doubt you'll get anyway.
As I post this, I'm actually wearing a long sleeve polo. The dressiest I've been in weeks.
Anyway, I spent the entire week fixing my schedule, and now that it's unchangeable, I'm stuck. But I did find out I didn't need to take an average of 21 credits a semester to graduate in 4 years, only 19-20 (I think).
I really need to start getting to bed earlier.

Heh, it seems like a lot of people around here prefer comfy to fashionable
.
Here's something funny. There's people on the swim team that wear makeup. To swim practice. It runs down their faces when they're wet and makes black circles around their eyes. I mean, why bother put makeup on to swim? I mean, we get out at 8:45 at night. If you wear it during the day, fine. Just wash it off before you come and problem solved. It's also kinda awkward because many of these girls are younger than me. Here they are applying makeup daily and I don't even know how to use an eyeliner
. But yeah, like Poik said, I don't feel the need to dress to impress.

Hmm that's strange Sira, I think I saw one or two girls like that on my way to lifeguard training, but I guess the higher up in the ranks you get the more people realize that you don't need to look all fancy when you're in a pool
So I'm back on my laptop thankfully! I caved and, while I was in town picking up a birthday card for a friend, went over to Future Shop and bought that ridiculously overpriced cord. I'm still unsure whether to cancel my order with Dell or not, I got an email from their rep this morning saying that they're sure the cord will be shipped out sometime in the next 3 weeks
If it arrives before I go home for reading break (which is shortly before then) and give me at least some sort of reimbursement for this ridiculous waiting time, then I'll probably return the overpriced cord when this gets in. Otherwise, looks like I'm out an extra $40.
I've been reading Dante's Divine Comedy a lot more lately, seeing as I didn't have a computer for more than half a day this last week and a bit. I'm just finishing up Purgatorio now, and moving into Paradisio. I'm not really religious at all, so when I say that you don't need to be all that religious to find his passages moving and beautiful (less so the latter in The Inferno, but I think that's sort of the point) you know I really mean it. Definitely one to read sometime - but don't expect to fly through it, I've just been reading a couple Canto's here and there since the summer and I'm just in the home stretch now! But yeah, great poem, definitely worth reading at least once

Hi. Yeah I'm like you sira, no clue how to use eyeliner, or apply mascara.
Anyway, Wednesday I visited Southern University of Mississippi. It was great and on the way home my Dad joked about how he'll have to live with me wanting to go there, and then followed it up by it could be worse, It could have been LSU.
Thursday, I was back at school and was very tired all day, but I didn't fall asleep in class, which was a surprise.
And today, school was canceled because of an Ice storm.

Re: Return of the Revenge of the Son of Saying Hi to Josiah!
For some reason I'd never think of putting make-up on myself (no clue how, in any case), but I sort of like the feeling when other people put make-up on me. oO
Although that's only happened two or three times so far...
Ohayou. I'm also the comfy-over-fashionable type. My entire wardrobe (here at school, anyway) consists of about 10 shirts, a pair of jeans, and a few capris and shorts for various weather. As compared to my roommate; you can't see the back of her closet because of all the shirts, jackets, and dresses she's got in there. Shorts are nice, but I have some sort of random aversion to showing my legs. Probably a carry-over from middle school dress code, where your pants couldn't be shorter than your thumb if you were standing with your hands at your sides.
I seem to fit the whole "I look younger than I really am" thing. I talked to a pair of freshman perhaps two weeks ago, and they thought I was also a freshman. When I told them I was a sophomore, they expressed their surprise and admitted ("no offense") that I looked like an 8th grader. I just laughed and told them I get that a lot. A few people I know from Mabinogi talked to me via Skype once, and also said I sounded more like I went to middle school than college.

Re: Return of the Revenge of the Son of Saying Hi to Josiah!
Hi! I used to wear shorts a lot as a kid but then when my family moved to CO we had 40 acres of mostly brush covered land and I used to spend tons of time running around and exploring. If I'd worn shorts, all the branches, cactus, rocks, etc, would have seriously scraped up my legs. And that got me into a habit of wearing jeans all the time.
My mom finally found a new hobby, Gold's Gym. Great for her! Unfortunately, she's been on my case to go ever since I got back. Finally I couldn't put her off any longer so I got dragged to a spinning class this morning. Didn't think it was anywhere near as difficult as everyone has been saying and I got kinda bored after a while. Plus, those bike seats are riddiculously uncomfortable. I think I'll stick with DDR.

Heso! February 26, huh? That's a good day. I like that day. I wish my birthday was February 36. Much better than September 11.
Anyway. Anime Nation at the Toms River Library is exactly a week from today. Quinton Flynn will be there this time. Should be fun~
And also I finally understand why "Dick" is a possible nickname for "Richard". Because our new manager, Richard, is definitely a Dick.
...I can get away with that, right? It's a name! That's all!

"Irregardless" and "Over exaggerated" are NEVER CORRECT EVER because they are redundant
Regardless means "without regard", and adding "ir" on the front actually makes it a double negative; exaggerate means "to overstate" so you're literally saying "over overstate."
Example: I can not exaggerate the importance of this fact enough, regardless of how often people ignore it.

Hey.
Well... Disney's apparently holding auditions in the area. A girl on my hockey team is auditioning, and today the pasta dinner (we have one the night before a game) was at my house, and the ad for the auditions came on the radio. Someone else on the team decided to call and put it on speaker phone, and after being on hold for a bit, the person was like "Are you calling for yourself or your child?" and she was like "Uh... me!" and they wre like "Okay, we have an audition at <insert location here> at 2:00 tomorrow. You'll need to talk to your parents for scheduling." and she was like "Er... no." and hung up. 10 seconds later, someone else at the pasta dinner called the audition place, and when they were told the same thing, they were like "oh, darn, I can't make it, can I call ya back later?" and the person was like "sure, why not."
I'm kind of tempted to call... it'd be sick if by some miracle I got the chance to do something and be on TV or in some show or movie, but it's not worth it, because it won't happen. Ah well. It's kind of nice to think about.

Hi! Never hurts to try, Saber. Better to try and fail then not try at all...unless you're trying something in which failure could result in serious injury, death, litigation, the apocalypse, or swarms of killer lemmings.

Well put Josiah, well put
Rather bored tonight. I'm in the mood to watch a movie, but all the ones on my external hard drive are ones I've seen and I can't think of one to look up. Bleh.
