Sira walked along the path to the Ranger Union HQ, eyes focused on the large building ahead of her, but her mind wandering elsewhere. She started to stride and sway to the beat of the song in her head, almost bumping into her dragonite, who was walking by her side. He nudged her arm, snapping her back to reality. She gave him an apologetic, sheepish look.
Her mind went back to the letter she had recieved. Even before it had arrived, she had noticed changes in the environment. Her schedule nowadays was filled to the brim with missions. She couldn't help thinking guiltily how she was getting away from it all thanks to this meeting.
Despite the early time, she wasn't tired. The importance of this meeting was well enough to drive back tantilizing thoughts of sleep. As it was, she had been unable to since she woke up at three. So, she decided she might as well walk to the Headquarters. She was nearby anyway, and she could get her remaining hours of sleep on a chair in the lobby if need be.
When she at last reached HQ grounds, she stopped for a moment to look up. She had never been here before. All of her training had taken place on Fiore, and her travels had never brought her to Alima. After taking in it's impressive exterior, she walked slowly to the door and went inside.

Sira found herself on the ground floor of the Ranger Union, to her left was a escalator and to her right was a seating area with comfy looking chairs. "Good morning, you must be here for the conference" She was greeted by the on duty receptionist. "Please take a seat over there while we wait for the rest to arrive." The girl finished indicating the seating area.

Aura was riding her Charizard, Tim, when the ranger base came into sight, there were only three reasons for her attending, 1, was to help the world. 2, was to develop her psychic abilities better, and 3, to find and sell any treasure she found.When she landed and entered the Base, she saw a ranger waiting around.
Hi! I'm Aura Demolord What's your name?

[Neo Zanther]

The weather was perfect for flying over Almia. Though Zanther hadn't been to this region yet he liked it already. Though he couldn't tell if it was usually this way or cause of the changes taking place everywhere. "Nice day for flying huh Charizad?" Zanther said. Charizard gave a roar of agreement. "Now lets see, that Ranger base should be around here somewhere..." After about an hour of flying Zanther spotted the area and had Charizard land. He recalled it back to it's ball. Then Zanther walked it.

He was impressed with the inside of the base. He saw someone at the counter and approached it. "Excuse me, but where is the confrence being held at?"

[Phonox]

Eric Roland was exploring Sinnoh with his newly aquired Shinx when he remembered the letter he received a few days ago. He reached into his pockets and pulled out a creased piece of paper. It's not that he had not read it yet, but he just skiped over the date, meeting place, and general purpose. After snickering at a small typo, Eric noticed the date of the conference.


"Uh oh." Seth took out his pokenav and found that he was almost a mile from the port, and his ship was leaving in ten minutes. "Good thing I have some flying pokemon. Go, Togetic! Eric exclaimed as he threw a Luxury Ball in the air. With a bright flash of light, Togetic appeared.

"Okay Togetic, fly me to the port!" Eric jumped on to Togetic, who stumbled forward a bit in a sad attempt to fly before collapsing. Togetic looked with a blank gaze, as if stating that there was no way she could lift him.

"What? What do you mean I'm too big? How the heck am I supposed to get there now? Run?" Togetic's face said it all. "Argh, fine! But if I'm late, it's your fault." Eric called Togetic back into her pokeball and proceded to sprint to the shore.

[Kaida]

"The conference is being held upstairs, it will start once everyone has arrived." The receptionist answered. "Until then you are welcome to wait over at the seating area or go for a walk."

[Siranae]

"Thanks." Sira smiled and took a seat in one of the comfy chairs. Her dragonite, after an unsuccessful attempt to seat himself in the too-small chairs, settled for the floor beside her. Comfortably seated, Sira rested her head on her right hand. When she was about to close her eyes, she heard a voice come from nearby.
Hi! I'm Aura Demolord What's your name?
Sira looked up at the girl and her charizard. "Hey. I'm Sira Kalajian. Nice to meet ya. You here for the conference?"

Yeah, and maybe unload some treasure I dug up back in Johto! I'm a treasure hunter,and I have telekinesis. But, I don't use it to much, it's for emergencies only.

[Phonox]

Eric had "borrowed" a bike from a spoiled rich trainer that had stopped him half way for a battle. Although he had beaten the trainer easily, he did lose five minutes and could no longer get there on time by foot. Seeing as it was the trainers fault, Eric decided it would only be fair for him to give up his bike. The trainer, being the spoiled kid he is, refused to part with his bike, so Eric "commissioned" his bike by force. He didn't feel guilty, seeing as the trainer seemed like the type of kid who would get ten new bikes with the first sniffle to his parents.

After a good two minutes of rapid pedaling towards the port, Eric managed to reach the dock just as it was leaving and managed to get on board. Other than the possible criminal charges for stealing a bike from a trainer, the excitement was over.

"Well now, time to find out where this Ranger base is actually at.

[Saber Knight]

After an unevenful boat ride, Terri had disembarked in Almia. She immediatly took all of her pokemon out of their pokeballs for a brief stretch, then returned all except for Fireball and Spark. With Spark resting on her head, she hopped on Fireball and went off toward the Ranger Union HQ at a leisurely pace. Well, leisuerly for Fireball, at least. It was still much faster than walking.

"Chu!" squeaked Spark in delight as she rode atop her head.

"We're almost there, if the directions that random guy gave me were correct," Terri said to her pokemon. Just as she said that, the building came into view. "Sweet."

Once Terri reached the front door, she dismounted from Fireball. After patting him for a bit and feeding him some berries, she returned the Arcanine to his pokeball. "Well, here goes," Terri said, more to herself than anyone else. With Spark still resting on her head, Terri went inside.

The first thing she noticed was a receptionist standing at the coutner. That seemed like a promising way to start. "Heya," Terri greeted her. "Er, would you know where I should be going for the confrence?"

Louanne peered over Flight's back, trying not to get hit in the face by his trailing head feathers. Impressive as they looked when he flew, they were not very convenient while she was hitching a ride on him. "I think it's that building," she finally yelled to her Pidgeot; the wind was rather loud at their altitude. It was cold up there, too. Louanne was glad she'd brought a jacket. Flight glanced where she pointed and pinned his wings to his sides, dropping into a steep dive. A few meters above the ground, he flared them out again, throwing a spray of dust into the air. They were far enough from the building not to dirty anything. Louanne hopped off her Pokemon's back, then led the way into the Ranger base. She entered just as another girl in the lobby asked the receptionist a question and decided to hang back 'til she got an answer. Seems like the others who got a letter were assembling. Absently, she stroked Flight's head as she waited. The huge bird crooned and leaned into her hand.

[Astral Omega]

Harmonie skipped up to the building, letter in hand with her blaziken strolling coolly behind her.

"We're here we're here we're here^^" she followed the directions to the waiting area.

"Hiiiii everyone!" She burst in. "Now who wants a hug?"

Kevin stared at the Pokemon Ranger HQ whilst munching on pretzel sticks and debating whether or not to go inside. He had gotten the email invitation, and was both smug and suspicious. After all their years of patronizing and being pillocks, the guvies finally were in need of his mad ninja skills. Or maybe they were trying to trick him so that they could get rid of him once and for all because they knew that he knew that the government had invented a car that ran on water. But then again, the email did promise free refreshments...

After much deliberation and many pretzel sticks, Kevin decided to go inside but be suspicious anyways. Pokeballs at his waist, he strode into the building and then into the conference hall; immediately beginning his search for the free refreshments.

The receptionist smiled up at the next girl as a few more walked in behind her. "The conference is being held upstairs, it will start once everyone has arrived." The receptionist answered. "Until then you are welcome to wait over at the seating area or go for a walk." She repeated, maybe she should have put a sign up after all, well she didn't have much else to do at the moment so it wasn't that bad.

Kelvin was up and early when he got on top of Houndoom and started for the ranger base that was not too far from where they stopped the night before. The crisp wind blowing through his hair caused him to think of capturing a flying pokemon and training it up. The last one, he left with his family, but with Houndoom as the fast pokemon he had for a long time, made fast gain as Kelvin saw the ranger base just less then a mile away.

He didn't want to be early and he didn't want to be late, so he took his time getting there with a happy smile on his face. Now is the best time to have a great time, Kelvin thought as he neared the base.
