So glad you had a great first date, Silver. I can't wait till next month so I can go on a Date with my boyfriend too^^

Bwa? Collychan is Silver's girlfriend? Definitely did not know that, welcome back! Also welcome back to Chubby Grey Cat, I don't remember you so it's nice to meet you (again?)!

In recent news, I was in a study group for chemistry today for 7 1/2 hours. The shocking bit? I'm not sick of it! I'm actually going for another round of it tomorrow, probably even longer! I guess the group you study with really does make a difference ;-)

Unfortunately the gun control in Canada is much more strict thn it is in the United States or Australia. In my 15 years of living in Ottawa I have not once seen a gun store. Luckily, up north there are basically no gun control laws because (surprise!) the aboriginals living there need to hunt things for survival. I figure I'll borrow a rifle from somebody once I get there.

How lax do you think the laws are in Australia? Ha. Well they must be pretty strict where I am. I've never see a gun store and the only time I've ever seen a gun (other than those ones you shoot the ducks at sideshow games or toys of various descriptions) is on the hip of a police officer.

Okay, now you have me researching. Here you have to have a licence and in most cases be over 18. Also have to be able to store it safely. To buy a gun you need another special permit and a decent reason (eg hunting, pest control fo feral animals etc) and "self defence" is not a good enough reason.

It is kind of sad that the strict laws were only introduced after the Port Arthur Massacre though. "Thirty five people were killed and 21 wounded when a man opened fire on tourists with two semi-automatic rifles."

I don't think I'll laugh as much about the saying "If it's called tourist season why can't se shoot them?"

Anyway. This forum is for learning. Even if it's just one or two words that make you wanna look something up. ;-)

OH I CALLED THAT! I TOTALLY CALLED THAT!

Right after Josiah made that post, I was thinking "hrm, I wonder if it's maybe that member that joined a while ago but never did much that said she was a friend of Silver...." Couldn't recall the name, though. Was kinda pissed though at the moment, so I didn't point it out.


Well, anyways, the high school's Gay Straight Alliance is doing this Day of Silence thing tomorrow. It's some national thing, and I somehow ended up being talked into doing it. So I can't talk tomorrow during school, though I can respond to questions asked by teachers in class. Gonna be fun....

Oh, and my leg hurts, which is making me sad. Softball game tomorrow against a private school, who's supposed to be really good. Gonna be fuuuun......
