Here is a question for you though...do you ever REALLY finish a final fantasy?
Is it when you beat the last boss?
Is it when you have unlocked everything?
Is it when you max out or your characters stats?
No, you never truly Finish a final fantasy, theirs always one chest you missed, one combination of attacks you want to try, a different approach you never thought of....even just to wonder around and show how powerful you are by killing one of every random monster with one hit
To finish a final fantasy would require the dedication of a monk to prayer
there is no end, only a beginning, there will always be things to do, as life, you can never TRULY finish it. This is why, when you get the last FMV, you feel empty, as if it where a shallow victory

I have beat all the final fantasies I have played, but to be honest, I have never truly finished with them, I some times go on them just to wonder around my fav locations, sad but true. In fact, I stood and stared at the woods of Marcalania for a while...because they were so beautiful....

My opinion is that you finish a FF game when you beat the final boss and see the ending (feel empty? I always feel good when I beat a game). You master the game if you complete all the optional sub-quests, beat all the optional bosses, get the best equipment, etc. And if you actually take the time to max out all your characters stats then you're just insane.
For me, I usually try to master games although sometimes I fall a little short on my first playthrough because I'll miss something I can't go back and get/do later on.

yes, but final fantasy games come few and far between if you've played them all, you do kinda spend alot of time on the last one, wasn't it almost 2 years since ff10? ((I'm not including 11, 10-2 and tactics because there not really a part of the main series, there have a class of there own...))

I use www.gamespot.com for game news and the like. They got lots of streaming video of various games. One thing though, its subscribtion based so you have to pay to subscribe if you want to access any content older than a week or two.
I want Jak 3, its out soon
Ponder the game please ^_^
