Yo.

There was a cool play-thing at school today called "History and Poetry". It's a sorta competition thing, and they were showing us the play the school is entering. It was written by a senior (who also happens to be on the high school DI team that went to Global finals last year (along with us, but we were middle schoolers last year)). The requirements are something like it has to run under 40 mins and the set has to be set up in 5 mins. Well, this Saturday they're preforming it in a competition against several other schools. Best 3 go on to the next round (which, regardless, my school is actually hosting), and after that you move on and on until you make it to nationals, I believe.

The play was certianly good. The senior who wrote it also was one of the main characters. Go figure. He's a good actor, though. He was in A Chorus Line a few months back. A few of my friends were in this play, but they had either one line or no lines.

Bah. Speaking of plays, I miss acting. Every time I see a play it makes me sad that I don't know the next chance I'll have to be in one.

Hmmmm...latelty, the plays I've been seeing have kinda lame-ish endings, at least in meh opinion. It's kinda hard to end a play....'cos it just is. I dunno, maybe I'm just picky. It just doesn't seem to satisfy as an ending. People are like, "Oh, it got dark. Clap time!", not "Ooh, that was DEFINATLY a satisfying ending. Clap time!". Meh. I've tried my hand at playwriting. I finished one play, but it was based off of a movie, so it really doesn't count as an original work. I need to write something original....after I finish writing all those novels and fanfics I'm working on...bah.
May the Triforce be with you.

That was my elementary school (an RC school) exactly, to the point where it completely turned me off of it and into a pleasantly agnostic state. I can't imagine giving up meat. I'm constantly fighting a war with my mom and sis (both of whom are vegetarians) over what to have for dinner, to the point where we usually cook a vegetarian and a meat dinner.

Well, if you're talking about giving up red meat on fryday during Lent, I don't understand what the big deal is. If it's about no meat 24/7...well, that's just stupid. Humans are omnivores, not herbivores.

I LIVE!!!!!

Yes I'm alive, making it through collage and getting sick... A bugs been going around, I've caught it and its not leaving. It's in that stage where its not so bad to keep you from doing things, but bad enough to annoy you and have you feel buggered by the end of the day.

And wait... We're celebrating Ash Wednesday... Is this a different one to the Ash Wednesday I know when over a 100 fires started in 1983 across Victoria and South Australia killing 75 people and causing widespread damage... Because that's the only one i know of....

Kaida's really confuzzeled... Kaida's head hurts...

Ohayou.

The Ash Wednesday they're talking about is the day Lent starts for Catholics, I think. I'm not religious, so I don't know for sure, but some of my Catholic friends walked around with a smudge on their foreheads. One of them didn't, but informed me beforehand that he'd be giving up IMs for Lent and not to expect him online anymore. Of course I could be getting the entire religion wrong. Sorry if I did. :/

Hope your head feels better soon, Kaida. :O

No, you've got it right Mandi. Though, that does give me an idea. If I break my promise of no TV Tropes, then I'll have to give up MSN.

Yeah, I didn't notice it was only red meat, that's a lot better! Msn is another thing I'd rather not give up, although last year I gave it up for 3 months mostly to prove to my parents that I'm not addicted to the internet. Pretty sure it only proved I am addicted though, my parents said it looked like I was going through withdrawls hehe...

Hi! I was planning to spend all day working on my thesis...but then some computer issues came up and so far I seem to be having "one of those days" and, with all the thesis work I need to get done, it's a really bad day for that. So yeah, I might not post much of anything today besides this post. Or maybe things will improve later, we'll see.

To comment on something Gar said earlier... Kosher dill pickles are actually a particular style of pickle (they do something different with the brine than with regular pickles), so named cause it was a Jewish guy who created that style (or something like that). However, there actually are kosher and non-kosher pickles. See, if you just go by the Bible (which is what I do) keeping kosher is just about not eating what the Bible says not to eat (no pig, no shrimp, don't drink blood, etc). However, some Jewish demoninations (most notably the Orthodox) are much stricter and built and added a ton of additional restrictions. For food to be rabbinally kosher, it has to be certified by a rabbi from an official kosher certification group. If you look at a lot of non-mean products in the grocery store you'll see a little symbol like an k inside a circle (though there's a few different ones), those are kosher certification symbols. So it's possible for pickles or any other non-meat food to not be rabbinically kosher because it wasn't prepared right or they never paid for certification.

Kaida's feeling kinda better, but then again she just woke up and hour ago and hasn't gone anywhere yet... Kaida will be feeling it by the end of the day.

And The Ash Wednesday I know of might explain why I've never heard of the one for Lent, I remember hearing something about 40 days of Lent but that's about it. I don't remember seeing anyone walk around with ash on their foreheads either.

Ok, now I'm really mad. I've already told you that someone has been messing with my locker. Fisrt it was snot, then gum. Well, third time's the charm, and now my locker has tobaco juice all over it. This has gone on long enough and I've already told several teachers about this, as well as an administrator. I might be changing my locker.

Anyway, aside from that, I had a pretty good day so far. I did a lab in chemestry, where we had to heat up bakeing powder to get Na2CO3. I also went to go tutouring for a middle-school and they had a lab as well. What a coincidence.

ATTENTION PEBBLE VERSION. THIS IS AN EMERGENCY SITUATION. PLEASE REMAIN CALM. HELL HAS FROZEN OVER, PIGS ARE FLYING, AND THE WORLD MAY SOON COME TO AN END. PLEASE PROCEED TO THE NEAREST EXIT. YOU COULD DUCK AND COVER, BUT IT PROBABLY WON'T HELP YOU. I REPEAT, PLEASE REMAIN CALM...

SILVER... has a... girlfriend. So the world must be ending, because that... doesn't happen. According to the laws of the universe, and eveything that makes Silver Silver, that should be impossible. Just thought I'd give you a heads up... if the world spontaneously collapses, that's why. I'm really sorry. I didn't mean to kill all of you.

Out of curiosity... is anyone here familiar with Shakespeare's "Much Ado About Nothing"?
"Irregardless" and "Over exaggerated" are NEVER CORRECT EVER because they are redundant
Regardless means "without regard", and adding "ir" on the front actually makes it a double negative; exaggerate means "to overstate" so you're literally saying "over overstate."
Example: I can not exaggerate the importance of this fact enough, regardless of how often people ignore it.

Ok everybody. Please, PLEASE don't bother Silver by asking questions like "Oh really!? Who is it? When are you going on a date? What's she like? Do you have a picture of her?" ect. He will tell us himself if he wants to. I also apologize in advance if I annoy you, Silver.

Also, no one answered my question on where you can watch Axis Powers Hetalia.

Wow. Good for you.

What would be just as crazy if I were to get a boyfriend. Seriously. Never had a crush on anyone. I get mocked for that a lot. But, people don't go "r u going out with *insert name of guy friend here*?" as much anymore, which is always nice. People do seem to be calling me a boy more often, though.

But, yeah, I've never had a crush. I asked my friend if she'd believe me if I said I had a crush on someone. She said she wouldn't. :P If I said I had a boyfriend, that would shatter her beliefs about everything she knew about me. :D

So, if the world ends, it's prolly 'cos I got a boyfriend. :D

Of course, I'm dieing to ask questions, but I won't.

And, yes, I have heard of "Much Ado About Nothing". No idea what it's about, though. Sorry. :drop:

Hey, sorry to hear that Gar and congratulations Silver! I hope your locker gets changed soon and you have a great and long relationship with your new lady (respectively or to both of you, I don't know if you need a locker changed Silver or if you have a girl Gar)! On another note, Dawn of War 2 is great and I recommend that everyone who has some spare time they'd like to decimate should go get a copy, but it's pretty pricy now so probably later.
