Speaking of the universe hating people, I am morbidly afraid of dark places. While I was at the anime club tonight, the power just shut off - thankfully, most of us had laptops so there was still a ton of light, but it spooked a lot of us. When the emergency generator went at it we finished the last episode and everyone went about their own merry way. When I came back, I went into the bathroom - where there is only one emergency light I might add - and entered one of the stalls, lock the door, and the emergency power dies on me. I flip out of my mind, can't see a thing, stumble into the hallway, which is just as dark, thankfully find someone with a flashlight after a minute, get into my room, freak out when I find out no lights work, somehow miraculously find my laptop and open it for light. My heart is still beating like mad - oh, and I was sitting in front of my laptop for a good half an hour before the power and internet came back on... Not very fun.

I used to be afraid of the dark... I'm not sure why I'm not now, but there you have it. I'm so sorry that you had to be in that situation. That must have been horrible... If I could hug you I would.

Going around? That would imply that it's an occasional or recent thing. I mean don't get me wrong, I'm generally an optimistic kinda person, but sometimes I just feel like I'm getting nowhere.

Like walking into a really strong wind. Constantly trying and trying to move forward until you get tired, have a look at where you are and realise that you're only a few centimeteres further forward than what you needed to be.. and sometimes you've even moved backwards. I'm sorry if that sounds kinda emo or something... I'm not depressed or anything... just sick of being poor

A Chorus Line was fantastic! It was a bit inappropriate (okay, maybe a bit more than that), but it was hilarious.

So, my friend, my two friends from pit and I went to get ice cream afterwards. After we're there for a few minutes, about half the cast from the play shows up! Didn't see that coming. So, we all got ice cream and stuff, and it was awesome.

Um, a little mixup. It turns out that the pep rally was not yesterday, as someone told me. It's next Wednesday. But homecoming was yesterday, so at least I didn't get that wrong. My sister forced me to get my hair straightened by her friend. I think this is the third time she's done this. I was born with wavy hair, I want to keep it that way! Oh well, it made her happy.

Of course, since it was a formal dance, everyone ended up taking off their uncomfortable shoes. But the problem was the school put down this weird green tarp so we wouldn't scuff the gym floor. Everyone's feet turned green. Mine still are.

Ok, remember when I said that I was writting a horror story for school, and that I posted some of this on the Saying Hi Thread?
