Hey.
*sigh*
On Halloween, I have a football game. Ish depressing.
Even if I wasn't going to trick-or-treat, I still wanted to give out candy and see all of the costumes and such. And plunder from our supply of candy. That to.
I was hoping our spirit day this week would be Halloween costumes, but it just so happens to be senior day, so the spirit day is to wear shirts with names of seniors in the marching band. That's so much lamer....

Cha!

If it was bad news she may not be online for a while. I know when I’ve had something major happen to me, the last thing I wanted to do was go on the internet. She may need time to herself to think. Don’t worry yet, she’s going to be okay. Opal is a strong person. If she isn’t online in another week or so, we really need to try and get a hold of her. I’d start the panic then, but for now, just wait.

I am pondering Horoscopes. Could they have some realy merit? I mean I can think of a lot of the times off the top of my head that they have been right..

Today I wore an amethyst necklace. It said my lucky colour was amethyst... and you know what, today has been great^^

I... just... wonder...

(But then again things have been pretty great for me -despite losing my laptop >.<- a lot lately... Just a certain Joie de vivre that has overcome me. Anyone else had this feeling?)

Hi! I don't believe in horroscopes. The thing with them is that they're usually written so generically that, if you try hard enough, you can usually think of some way to apply them to you.

Shauni makes some good points about Opal so I say we go with that approach for now. Also, since no one here knows her in real life, it would likely be pretty hard to get in touch with her if she doesn't respond to e-mails.

I'm not a fan of horoscopes either, I believe in the whole circle of history thing, but I think people just manipulate and dilute it to the point of uselessness nowadays.

Finally got a reply from her. I'll leave it up to her what kind of information she wants posted, but it sounds like she's okay.

Hey.
Got to take a super-fun enriched math test today. It was one of those tests that they give to a bunch of people that doesn't count gradewise but looks good on college aplications if you do well. It was very hard....some of the questions were all trigonometry and stuff, or at least I thought so. I don't know trig, so couldn't exactly answer those. You get 2 points for a blank answer, though (6 points for a right answer, and 0 points for a wrong one). I think I got 9ish questions right out of 25, the rest I just left blank. Got me out of english class though. :D

No marching band practice today cuz of rain. *sigh* That means I have to go to hockey practice....bleh. Have I mentioned my assistant coach is partially insane? And not in a good way...We get team e-mails, and she just says stuff that's....I don't know how to describe it. She...well...scares me.

Bleh. My day isn't going well at all. There's all that, and the 78 I got on a science test. Astral, can I borrow your amethyst necklace? :P

I hate trig so much, especially in algebra style questions - which come up a lot in calculus :-/ Finding the derivatives of arctan and stuff is a true brainbreaker...

So yeah. Bad news. Dad looked through my stuff. Unfortunately, I had a rather... Sensual RP going on in a convo. SO yeah, I'm in trouble. Heaps of it.

Sorry to hear that, Terra. I hate it when people go through other people's stuff.

I don't know about horoscopes, I can't really say that I do/don't believe in them. Who writes them and how do they know what to write anyway?

There's magazine my sister gets every so often that has a horoscope in the back. And if they were right, I would have met my "true love" like twelve times already, and I've never had a boyfriend :P.

But, the description of pieces is close to my personality, I think.

Oh, we have these cool plates at home that have the astrological signs. The top of the plate has good traits, the bottom has your bad traits. I really don't believe in any of it, though. Half the traits do fit me, though. Most of the bad traits don't. Some other plates fit me better.

Gawd....my assistant coach is crazy. Everyone on the team, including the other coahes, was glad she wasn't here today. I've been trying my best not to hate her, but it's too hard....

Hm. Back to homework.

That stinks and your parents know how to look through convos? Mine barely know how to instant message and e-mail...

Oi. Sometimes I look at the horoscopes to laugh and then prove them wrong.
Now directly related but close: one of my favorite fortune cookies said "The job is well done." That really sounds like a big nothing to me except for the fact I had just gotten my first job.
Hmm... This signature just got really short...

Heso!

Parents are the worst for going through your stuff, it'd be best to not save that kind of stuff if you have family that use the same computer.

And I don't believe in horoscopes. You see I'm a Taurus/Gemini and their horoscopes tend to contradict each other every now and then.
Redback, Funnel-Web, Blue-ringed octopus
Taipan, Tigersnake and a Box jellyfish
Stonefish and the poison thing that lives in a shell

XD The horoscopes in my school's news paper were always so funny. They always said stuff like, "Cancer: Stay on Mr. Dalon's good side. He's in a detention-giving mood and doesn't like crab."

Heso! Now that's what I'm talking about! I got the Golden Disco Ball award for tonight's show! It's kind of like the 'MVP' of I'm Getting murdered in the Morning. We had a small crowd - it was raining, so I guess most everyone just felt like staying home - but they were all really into it, so the show ended up being amazing and stuff. Yeah... I think most play-goers don't realize how important a lively audience is. If there's no interest there, actors tend to loose interest, too. It's like there's no point, you know? So if you guys ever go to see a show... for God's sake, if you're asked to go up on stage and do the YMCA while wearing Village People hats, you go up on stage and do the YMCA while wearing Village People hats!
"Irregardless" and "Over exaggerated" are NEVER CORRECT EVER because they are redundant
Regardless means "without regard", and adding "ir" on the front actually makes it a double negative; exaggerate means "to overstate" so you're literally saying "over overstate."
Example: I can not exaggerate the importance of this fact enough, regardless of how often people ignore it.
