The place to talk about TV shows, movies, and, of course, anime!

So one otaku marries a video game character while...

Post by SuzuTitor »

...another otaku marries his dakimakura of Fate Testarossa.

I knew it would happen eventually...
It's getting really hard for me to try and defend otaku and their 2D complexes if they present themselves like this...
Also, he specifically married the daki for Fate, but is that Nanoha I see on the other side? So wouldn't he have married both?

Well, um... At least it's a physical object. That's an improvement. Maybe...

On the contrary... at least Nene has intelligence, artificial or otherwise. If you talk to her, she talks back. I'd find it to be even more pathetic if this guy ever went on a date with his wife... And I mean really, you know what kind of stuff this guy will do with that pillow. You really can't do that with a DS, at least.

...You can't, right? I-I don't want to think about this anymore...

The point is, yeah... this is definitely getting ridiculous. More so than it already was.
"Irregardless" and "Over exaggerated" are NEVER CORRECT EVER because they are redundant
Regardless means "without regard", and adding "ir" on the front actually makes it a double negative; exaggerate means "to overstate" so you're literally saying "over overstate."
Example: I can not exaggerate the importance of this fact enough, regardless of how often people ignore it.

Well at least he doesn't have to pay for her to get into the theme parks and eat...

But it's just a tad overboard... just a little...
Redback, Funnel-Web, Blue-ringed octopus
Taipan, Tigersnake and a Box jellyfish
Stonefish and the poison thing that lives in a shell
That spikes you when you pick it up
