I must confess, I was very close to becoming a shiny Dodrio way back when, haha, so that actually makes me happy.

I also can't wait for the inevitable Fly jokes.

Fly jokes? In regards to Dodrio or do you mean the ones starting here?

Dodrio can learn the HM fly. I rather assumed that was going to be a joke.

That isn't funny, Josiah... that just hurts...
"Irregardless" and "Over exaggerated" are NEVER CORRECT EVER because they are redundant
Regardless means "without regard", and adding "ir" on the front actually makes it a double negative; exaggerate means "to overstate" so you're literally saying "over overstate."
Example: I can not exaggerate the importance of this fact enough, regardless of how often people ignore it.

Hey, I really did run into a shiny Pokémon in the Safari Zone. Two, in fact. I managed to catch them both, but I had a momentary freak out when they first appeared.

You too, huh? I know I've told the story before, but the first time I ever ran into a shiny Pokemon that wasn't a Gyarados it was in Emerald Version, shiny Spinarack in the Safari Zone. It ran after one turn.

But, hmm... knowing that you've encountered two, I have to wonder... are the odds of encountering a shiny increased in there? Because if so...

SCREW YOU NINTENDO THAT'S MESSED UP

The only shiny I've ever seen was actually a zigzagoon.

Before I had pokeballs.

Ouch... Those two shinies in the Safari Zone are the only ones (aside from the gyrados, of course) that I've ever encountered (though I've traded for some others). That said, nothing I've read about shiny encounter rates mentions a boost in the Safari Zone.

Oh yay, Wobbuffet, my very favourite pokemon! But it won't be used. Darn.

I'd just like to point out that there's... a bit of an error here. Imprison should be Disable. Imprison only blocks move that the Pokemon using Imprison knows, and Gardevoir can't learn Dragonbreath, so it wouldn't have worked.

Oops... I never actually use Imprison myself and, when skimming over Gardevoir's list of attacks, the description for Imprison is worded a bit oddly so I got it confused. Anyway though, you're right. Fortunately, Gardevoir can learn Disable (as an egg move, but that works), so it's an easy enough fix.
