Staccato is a cool comic, with a few completely random characters, and some cool twists, including a romantic twist and a twisted and sadistic... web router.
Characters:
Staccato (Stac): Hippo: The main character, recently out of college and Tequila's roommate.
Tequila: Raccoon: An alchoholic and gamer, studying to be an engineer, and built Sammy.
Sammy: An evil web router built by Tequila.
Basketcase: A basketball that talks.
Ella: Cat: Is in college, likes some music artist named Bjork.
Don: Peacock: Tequila's best friend.
This is my favorite.

It's been awhile since I read this. Though I always thought Don was a parrot.

Meh. By now I'm pretty tired of "college roommate" type strips to begin with (okay, the one guy is a recent graduate, but it's still that type of comic) so that didn't help. But, even if I wasn't, I just didn't find much to like. The art isn't bad but there wasn't any real plot in the first 50-60 strips (all I read), the characters are all cliche college roommate comic types of people, and there wasn't a single joke that I thought was all that funny. So yeah, I got bored and quit after ten pages (each page being like five or six strips, BTW).

Meh. It was okay. It seems like a "the artist is just doing this as a hobby" strip because of the many hiatuses. Or haiti I guess.
Anyway, as far as random comics it wasn't bad, but it wasn't original either like Josiah said. And yeah, he calls himself a peacock in a Thanksgiving strip, so... I would've thought he was a parrot too though.

Yeah, I lasted to I think the 200th strip. then I stopped reading it.

The art's not bad, but it's nothing great either. As Poik said, it seems like the artist is just doing this as a hobby.
There were a few funnies, but I got bored after a while.

Staccato was a pretty funny, lighthearted comic, Blue Fire. Nothing really caught my eye, but it was still a good read. I've got to say my favorite character was Basketcase. He was so hyper and upbeat.
