Awkward Zombie (note, not actually a comic about zombies)

Since I'm running late today I'm going to do something simple.

Awkward Zombie actually has nothing whatsoever to do with zombies, it's a video game humor comic. Plus it's a fairly new and therefore a rather short comic (only 59 strips so far) so none of you should have too much troulbe making it through the archives.
Plot: There's no continuous plot in AZ although occasionally there will be a sequence of two or three comics that tie together. The structure is something like that of VG Cats (although without the cats) as in each strip is a funny little gag from some game or other (or occasionally a movie or something else).
Art: The art is quite good although it's not flashy in any way and the style is a bit different than many of the ones you often see.
Things to Know: Smash Brothers is game that shows up most often here. Also, just in case you can't figure it out on your own, the girl that shows up sometimes as the main character in whatever game the strip is about is the artist. Oh yeah, if a strip happens to be about a game or something you're not familiar with, scroll to the bottom of the page for an explanation.
Favorite Strips: Since we're all Pokémon fans I'm obligated to point out some of the great pokémon strips like this one and the one immediately after it, which actually use jokes similiar to some stuff I'm planning for PV later on. And here's the first of another set of two comics for the Phoenix Wright fans out there. Finally, since there's so many Smash Brothers strips, here's one of my favorites of those.

The comic is great and I love the idea about putting all Nintendo's characters together.

You really need to play some games to get most of the jokes (given that you know some basics about the characters already) in the comic, but it doesn't bother me, really (although, it could bother people who don't own any consoles / gameboys, as NIntendo doesn't make a lot of PC games).

Anyway, comic is great all in all, but I like the Phoenix Wright comics most.

Yeah, the one problem with random game humor comics is that if you don`t have at least a little familiarity with the games, you probably won`t get most of the jokes, which does limit the appeal a bit compared to an original comic or a game comic that sticks to one game (and therefore has time to build things up so everyone can understand most of it.). Fortunately, I don`t think that`s something this club needs to worry about much. ;-)

Then there's this joke which you don't need to know a specific game to get since most are like this. And this may not be the most original joke, but I've always wondered about that.

It's pretty good humor-wise. Most of the comics are at least chuckle-worthy. It's art is consistent and definitely better than I can do. Yeah, the jokes wouldn't be half as good if you hadn't played the game it refers to. Like Fire Emblem for example. But whatever.

I love seeing the Smash Bros. characters doing their own things in this one. The art isn't incredible but it could be worse. My favourite strips are this one and this one. Also, this one here is so true. It's impossible to find staples at Staples!

Ah, Awkward Zombie... Hail-NekoYasha fequently makes it to the front page of DeviantART, so I've seen most of these comic before. I don't know much about the Legend of Zelda, though, so I haven't read through the whole archive... But I certainly appreciate the Pokemon-based comics.

I've always like the art style. It's... well, ok, it's weird, but that doesn't make it bad.

Aside from the Pokemon comics, I've always been rather fond of this one. Poor Luigi always gets the short end of the stick.
