Let's see.....actually a bunch of the comics I read are a bit risque. I don't intend this, it's just that the comics I get on TWC happen to often be rather risque comics. So I'll warn ya'all beforehand, nobody easily offended by language/innuendo should read these.



Let's see..... now that that's been dealt with, which comic to advocate first......ah, I know.

The first 50 are actually sort of lame, because it's mostly story set up. While it is a humourous comic, there's a huge complex plot that is going in a definite direction the whole time. Basically, you can tell the author knows what he's doing. I highly reccomend you read past the first 50. And since Silver already has, he has to read 50 more than he's gotten to. Nyah.

I guess my favorite comic is the event known as the <a href='http://www.captainsnes.com/?date=20060207' target='_blank'>The legendary swear-down on sailor street.</a>. It makes alot more sense if you actually read up to that point, but it's pretty funny on it's own too.


Gee, I think I'm forgetting something, but it can't be helped. In my opinion, Captain SNES is one of the best comics out there, so I hope you enjoy it too.

I've been reading CSNES for a long time but I'm rereading it for the club. I think that some of the jokes and kinda crude and, actually, I don't think said crude jokes are all that funny. Overall though, the sprite work is great, the story is an interesting take on an old theme, the characters are good, and there are some really funny parts. Although I have to say, it depeserately needs a regular update schedule. I'll comment more once I've reread more strips.

If anyone DIDN'T see this coming from a freaken mile away, raise your hand.

Eh... in all honesty I stopped reading it a long time ago because I got so freaken sick of the crude jokes... they're ridiculously over done. Not to mention not funny. I guess I'm just spoiled in regards to sprite comics... Pebble Version was my first, and I've yet to find something that tops it by my standards.

Anyway, I read up to 200 before... which means I have to read up to 250 now. Joy...

Well, worth pointing out in the first 50 comics is the Weakest Link bit. Which begins <a href='http://www.captainsnes.com/?date=20010901' target='_blank'>here</a>. It was a near death experience - people were NOT intended to laugh that hard. Although after that I remember everything as 'not as funny as the Weakest Link bit'. And by that I mean I don't remember it at all.

I want to aggree with everything Josiah said. There are too many crude jokes, and they aren't really funny. However, I like the story, there ARE some great parts, and it really needs to update regularly. So yeah.

So, um, Captain SNES hasn't exactly been thoroughly discussed... and admittedly I've only read up to #225 due to lack of time. We've got two days left before Wednesday, when I'm guessing MK is going to post his webcomic; does no one have further comments?

Yeah, things did get kinda interrupted by that lovely forum crash. And yeah, if MK wants to post his comic on wednesday I'm good with that. We still have a couple days to discuss CSNES.

Hmm... The bit with Edward trying to get his revenge on Cecil was kinda amusing. Although the comics with Magus and Mario were probably some of the best. And I'm kinda curious to see what he's going to do with the FFVI world, assuming he ever gets to that point with the slow updates and all.

Yes, the super magus brothers are awesome. You seen any of those flash animations?
