Round 3: Super Happy Fun Fun Land

[Blastotoise]

"Well, when in Rome..." He said as he jumped into the "Slide"

[Astral Omega]

“Oo, look at all the pretties…” Cassi exclaimed as she stepped into the shop. Kaida shouted something (which she didn’t hear because she was distracted by the other things in the shop. Kaida ran off an Cassi followed.

“EEEE! Shiny thing on a string!” She jumped up and down as Kaida picked up the crystal ball think.

“You know what would be really cool?” she grinned. “A shiny POINTY thing!” she grinned maniacally and looked around her, muttering ‘shinypointything’ under her breath.

Suddenly she snapped out of it and turned back to Kaida. An idea struck her. “Where are the shop assistants? There are usually people around trying to sell something…”

[Kaida]

"It is odd, maybe the shiney crystal ball will tell us the answer's we seek." Kaida said in a mysterious voice holding the ball at eye level for a closer inspection.

[Josiah]

MICKEY

Mickey made it back to the Giant Cool Looking Black Sphere Plaza. She could see the sphere (it was kinda hard to miss), the people getting beamed into the sphere, the paths leading through the grass, etc. The entrance to The Wonderful World of Slime should be directly opposite the entrance to Flights of Fancy (where she'd just come from) but she was too far away to see the sign.


MARLEY

Marley fell, and fell, and fell, bouncing off the spongy walls from time to time, Eventually he fell out of the hole and dropped another twenty feet or so into a giant pool of some sort of liquid. The liquid felt kind of tingly. There was a large tube like thing off on the far side of the chamber Marley was in now but off to the side he could also see a small gap in the spongy wall, almost like a cut of sorts, that it looked like he might be able to squeeze through.


KAIDA & CASSI

The ball had a slightly bluish tint to it, but didn't do anything when Kaida held it up.

Unlike the underwear shop, this store wasn't filled with clerks, but there was a counter against the right wall with a shopkeeper sitting behind it.

"Hmm...that's odd" Marley said as he went over to investigate the hole in the wall.

Hoping she rememberd the map correctly, Mickey headed directly across the plaza, hoping that she was headed for the Wonderful World of Slime.

[Astral Omega]

Cassi saw the person behind the counter and almost face-palmed. Why hadn’t she seen it before?

She put on her best dashing smile and walked towards the shopkeeper.

“Hello there, I’m Cassiopeia Artron. You may have seen me on Portal Panic? Yes? No? Well, I was wondering if you could assist me, you seem like a nice guy… handsome too.” She blinked a couple of times, but her grin never faltered.

((Astral feels random, so therefore so does Cassi!))

[Kaida]

Kaida followed Cassi to the counter with the crystal ball. "Actually, he probably doesn't recognize you since this is your first round and he's not exactly sitting at home to watch you on PP" She muttered to Cassi.

"Hi I'm Kaida Mitchell, also from Portal Panic, We're from the Earth team." Kaida said introducing herself. She then held up the crystal ball. "Would you be able to tell me what this is?" She asked him.

MARLEY

The gap in the wall was pretty narrow but Marley could definately squeeze through if he wanted to. He couldn't really tell what was on the other side. Meanwhile, the tingling from the liquid he was swimming in was getting stronger...


MICKEY

Mickey arrived at an archway similiar to the one that led into Flights of Fancy, except the sign for this one said The Wonderful World of Slime. Like the Flights of Fancy archway, this one was filled with a shimmering barrier of some sort, preventing her from seeing what was on the other side. Around her, other people were walking through the barrier in both directions.


KAIDA & CASSI

"Portal Panic contestants?" the guy gave them a look. "Yeah sure you are." he rolled his eyes then turned his attention to Kaida's shiny ball on a string. "And that... It's a shiny bluish ball on a string. It might do something, or it might not. I only stock stuff cause it's shiny, I don't really care what it does."

[Kaida]

"Awww, but we are, I was in the First and Second rounds for my team" Kaida said to the shopkeeper.
She nudged Cassi while muttering "power."

[Blastotoise]

"Yea, I really need to get out of here." Marley said as he jumped out of the liquid and went towards the gap.

[Astral Omega]

Cassi enacted her power of speed speech.

“Omigosh., you don’t believe that we’re in portal panic that is like so mean. I know I would believe someone if they claimed to be on TV, of course I would ask for proof but you didn’t even do that! You just rolled your eyes. That is so rode and if there’s one thing I can’t stand it’s rude people. We just came to ask a question you know; you didn’t have to roll your eyes at us. The last time somebody rolled their eyes at me, they got them poked. I poked them in the eyes and they ended up with great big bruises because I poked them so hard. Would you like me to poke you in the eyes so you’ll be staggering around for a few minutes going ‘argh, my eyes!’? No I don’t think you’d like to; so I suggest you don’t roll your eyes at me again or I’ll be forced to thwack you with my big, invisible stick! Now if you don’t believe me after that then I’d have to thwack you again.
I spun the power of speed speech on the wheel of powers and on the wheel of stuff I spun the really cool invisible thingie, and you know it IS really cool! I found out that it’s sort of fuzzy and if you press these indentations it turns into a big stick. I like to hit people with big sticks! And it’s even better because it seems to add some force to whatever force you put into it because I wacked Kaida here with it before and it really hurt. I mean I didn’t wack her that hard and she’s pretty tough but it HURT her!”

Cassi took a deep breath and spoke in a normal voice.

“And that’s why we’re here to ask you if you know anything about where the portal is.”

(I really did type that very fast, so… yeah. The power of speed speech is something I would definitely use IRL. In fact I practically do now^^)

MARLEY

Marley squeezed through the gap and found himself floating in a large tube. Be was complete surrounded in a clear liquid but, strangely enough, he could breath just fine. Lots of big red discs were whizzing past him.


KAIDA & CASSI

The guy looked rather dazzed after all that. "Uh... I really don't know anything about a portal in the park, honest."

[Blastotoise]

"Hmm...I wonder where these go?" Marley said as he tried to grab one

[Astral Omega]

“Oh,” Cassi looked a little disappointed, “Well do you have any sort of sparkly map or guide brochure… or at least a really shiny compass that’s calibrated to this planet’s electromagnetic field?” She looked at all the shinies around her hopefully.
