Round 2: Uber-Mart

Hmm, I don't see anything that's compatible for my computer. *sigh* Oh well. Maybe I'll go look for that portal. Ryan said. He looked towards another section of the floor and saw a huge area filled with office supplies. Well, I suppose this is a good enough start as any... he said, walking towards the section.

"Ok Shana, you go to the first floor to search for the portal. If it isnt there, then go to the second floor. I already look around the 3rd floor and the poral's not there, ok. Now, I will search this floor and the 5th floor, and we will meet up on the 6th floor so we can look for the portal togeather, ok?"

"Let's see... Ryan is already looking for the portal on this floor, so I guess the best approach would to search floor-by-floor until I find it." Troy said to himself while talking the escalator downstairs."

RYAN

The office supply section was surprisingly quiet, at least compared to the rest of the store. Perhaps because office supplies didn't make very good gifts. The first area Ryan come to contained a whole lot of fancy desks and swively chairs. Further ahead he could see filing cabnets to the left and binders to the right.

KAIDA

Kaida pulled the trigger and another red beam shot out of the gun...but this time it shot out of the back and hit her in the face, leaving her with bright spots dancing infront of her eyes and a strange tingling sensation where she had been hit.

((The effects will wear off in a minute or so.))

GARY

"Right!" Shana nodded eagerly. "Just make sure you look really hard, sometimes the portals are hidden, you know? It'd make things a bit too easy if they were all out in the open. And you should probably keep an eye out for anything weird. Never know when that other team might try and set a trap plus Hostly was talking about some other things being hidden around here, you know? Well, I'm off! See you later! Keep in touch!" Shana zoomed off, leaving Gary alone, or as alone as he could be in a store jam packed with people.

Tory arrived on floor 5 without incident. As he got off the escalator, he spotted Silver standing nearby.

"Hey! Silver! Over here!" Troy shouted while waving his arm. "Had any luck finding the portal so far?"

"Oh, good! The round didn't end already!" Silver said when he saw Troy approaching. "Actually, I've been uncouncious this whole time. I ate so much of Kaida's popcorn I fell into a sodium coma despite my super eating abilities... So no, I haven't made any progress."

After watching Shana fly off, Gary headed for the Mist products again, hopefull that he would find some kichen appliances and the portal.

GARY

Gary found quite a large selection of Mist kitchen appliances, in all their misty goodness. He didn't see any obvious signs of the portal but he did notice that those dwarves he'd seen earlier were still hanging around the area.

"Well this might come in handy if i run into those dwarves again, and my little sister too." Kaida said after the affects had worn off. "Now I wonder how this is a clue, Unless theres a Official Portal Panic store somewhere here and thats where the portal is but I doubt that It would be that easy so. . ." Kaida said as she put the toy gun down and started proding the stuffed toy.

As Kaida played with the Hostly doll she ended up squeezing its hand. The doll promptly yelled out, "Aisle 287!" sounding just like the real Hostly.

"Aisle 287 huh, I wonder where that is... Maybe theres a shop assistant around here I can ask" Kaida said as she started looking around for someone to ask, or something telling her what aisle she was in.

So Gary took a Mist toaster and a Mist egg whisk and decided to go introduce himself to the dwarfs. "Hey! You must be a portal panic player, huh? I am to! My names Gary and I'm a human, which are also called Homo sapiens. What are your names?"

There aisle Kaida was in was numbered 92 according to a nearby sign. She didn't see any employees in the immediate area. ((Didn't you pick up a store map earlier?))

The dwarves eyed Gary warily. "Oh, we're no one, no one at all." one of them answered. "There's nothing interesting in this part of the store at all so you might as well just run along. No chance of finding a clue or anything important." At this point the other dwarf smacked him and he stopped talking.
