((What about Jeff? Or are his attacks white magic too? And you know, Virgo does have a metal attack.))

*Fure Ultra stared confidently at the injured chosen.* "Why even bother blocking light moves. We can live without healing for a little while and Shauni was the only one attacking you with them. Besides, with light sealed you can't even heal yourself. You made a careless mistake, and it just lost you this battle."

*8-god Chosen's eyes widened as it listened to Josiah. How could it have done something so ameturish?*

"You're finished! Scorched Earth!"

"Mecha Overdrive!"

"Ragnarok, Thor's Hammer!"

*Shauni's monsters added their attacks in as well. When the smoke cleared the plant was gone and 8-god Chosen was disentigrating.*

"No!!! It... Can't... Be..."

"Yeah! We did it!" *Shauni cheered as their enemy vanished.*

"Don't celebrate yet. We still need to take care of the shrine."

Daku, meanwhile, was flying along, tracing the scent of Neo's goggles "They are near, I can sense them" He then sees them down below, digging a hole. "What in hell's blazes are they doing???" So he decided to eavsedrop on them. He flew down and got up against a think metal structure, peaking at them from the side.

"Okay, the hole is as good as done." 

"Good thing Silver's Spindice is such a good digger. Heheh."

"Do you think 500ft. will be enough?" 

"Of course, but we should gaurd the hole till they come".

"Good idea." 

"BAD IDEA!"

"Whaaaa?"

Suddenly, Daku leaped out from behind the structure."Hellion sends his wishes." He then ran at both of them, kicked them both in the jaw, and siesmic tossed them down the hole.

When they hit the bottom of the hole, Rustie stood up.
I can fly us out of here!

"Think again, bird boy. INFERNO SNIPE"! Suddenly, his eyes turned to sniper targets, and began rolling all-over the place. His eyes then locked onto Rustie's wings, and Daku fired. "YES! Now, to finish you petty creatures off! SHADOW OBILTERATION!" He charged the attack to full power and launched it down the hole.

"Meet your end, fools..."

"Good, let's blast this thing and get outta here."

"I wonder if it will bring back Amhal..." *Jeff's thoughts were on his friend, who he hadn't seen since before the Zodiac Legends appeared.*

"Well, only one was to find out. Get ready to run guys. Raydion, Holy Blades!" *Raydion struck the core of dark energy causing it to flash and then disapear. Perdictably enough, the room began to shake.*

Shauni clasped Jeff's hand as everyone waited with bated breath as Josiah struck the drak shrine with his powerless zodiac sword. There was an explosion of dark lightnig and then mist, this time nothing started to rubble and colape

Everyone looked at the shrine.....nothing but rubble, but stranger there was no purification of the area, everything remained black and menising

"Whats going on? why did it not restore?"

Everyone looked around, they suddenly hured bellwoing laughter as a figure walked forward, it was Emiel

"Greatings kiddies, so nice of you to join me today, as you can see, your punny attemtp to purge this area of sutras data has failed, now, I will defet you before you have a chance to destry the real shrine below here!"

He drew his gaunlet that contatined the stolen power of the zodiac sword

"Purge sutras data?? what are you talking about??"

"Enough, I must fall ypou for her, for Bowen, he will restore sutra! But first I must kill you!!!!"

"Spindice, get us out of here!" *Spindice dug a hole to the side, Zanther and Rustie climbing to the side just in time to avoid the attack*

"What do we do now?! He's gonna do it again!"

"Simple! We, uh... dig another hole!"

"What is it with you and holes?!"

"Uh... Spindice, Avalanche!"

"No, you moron!" *Spindice used Avalanche, filling the giant hole completely with snow*

"Yes. But there's nothing you can do about. I'll destroy you all with your own powers!"

"Wait! Who is Bowen?" *But no one heard Shauni's question as they were all preparing to fight.

"The zodiac shards are strong but you won't be able to defeat all of us."

"Right! Devine Protection!" *Virgo boosted everyones' attack and defense.*

"So," *Josiah spoke again, causing everyone to notice that he had transformed into Perfect Light.* "let's see if you're as strong as you think."

"Enough of this talk! You killed Sutra! It's time for you to die!!!"

Emiel begna to fire of random Zodiac attacks such as crab hammer, but everyone already new what the attacks did and easly countered them. Emiel pulled back

"I guess your not as weak as I first thought....but you dont understand....I wont let a bunch of viruis destry my one chance of brining nack sutra from the dead....shes all i have"

Shauni flew down her daggers

"Number one, I am the only virus, these are people, who threw no folt of there own are stuck in YOUR sisters game, and we didnt....we couldnt kill Sutra....Moen killed her"

Emiel looked at her, slight distrust in his eyes
"So you say you would not do that? then why destry the dark shrines, Bowne says the dark shirnes are the key to resorecting Sutra, that her data is...in essunce the dark shirnes"

"i dont understand"

He lookd away and began to walk backwords blocking the door to the shrine
"There is no data in this world to manipulate, Hellion uses data he can get and manipultaes it to create what he needs, Bowne told me that Hellion used Sutras data to make the dark shrines the moment she died, there what bind the Orca data to the dark world, if you destry them, it is true orca will be restored, but without Sutra to maintain it from the outside anyway, it will collapes...and becideds, Sutra is more important that a fanatasy"

"Tell me of Bowen....who is he?"

Exhasted he prepared to fight them of to his ladt
"Like i'd tell you anyway. My sister life is more important than is surrad you have lived for the past two years, if it means you dieing to give me the slightets chance to revive her, I will......"

"The dark shrines are what's destroying this world. That's why they can't be powered by Sutra. She created it, that's why she wouldn't let her self be used to turn it into a dying dark world. You're just blindly trusting some random person because he said he could help? You're a fool."

"Josiah's right. Join with us. If there's a way to save Sutra I'm sure we can find it."

"Shut up!!! I've heard enough! Zodiac Sky!" *Enraged, Emiel launched another attack.*

"Tch, fine." *Perfect Light dodged the attack.* "If you won't listen then I'll just have to beat some sense into you myself!"

"your th fool! you think she wants to be bond to either derty your world or be destryed! Hellion is manipulating her, just as Moen did! Thats all this stupied game does to her! Its hurts her no end!"

Everyone doged the Zodiac Sky attack and Emiel landed behind them

"I might have beleved you a few hours ago....but Bowen has shown me proff that sutra's data is what hellion has used to power the dark shrines, he needs Orcas data to creat whatever it is he intends....the dark world has no data that he can control.....Look what happned to Moen when he played with that data...it ended up destrying him....Hellion knows that will happnen to him, its why he so desportaly defends the orca data. if he does not bind it here with the shrines....all the data will be lost, as Moen intended...."

He ran back to the shrine entrace
"So you see, if you destry the shrines, sure, Orca will no longer be mutated, but it will become unstable and collapes into nothingness....so, its actualy in your interests NOT to destry the shrines, and it will give be time to restore sutra...."

"Lets just assume you are correct...what then? if sutra is restored....wont orca collapes anyway??"

Emiel did not answer
"Then it would...so either way we die...great"

Emiel lay down is gaunltet
"Maybe if you meat Bowen you would see...."

"WHO IS HE!!"

"He is something Sutra was working on before she became trapped"

"What? An NPC?"
"No....he is a interface software...basicaly a dictonary with AI, she was working on it for players...."
"Like...like the ying and yang of B&W? Like a guide?"
"Yes...but...in return for helping me....he wants you Shauni...."
"Me? Why?"
"I dont know....he said 'to understand you'"
Shauni was silent
"I dont like the sound of that...."

"I've said too much already. We'll meet again!" *Emiel turned and out of the shrine.*

"Tch, fine. Run away. You won't be able to defeat us next time either." *Perfect Light looked around for the entrance to the real dark shrine.*

"What...what do we do now? I don't know what to think anymore..." *Shauni dropped sadly to the ground.*

"No matter what that Emiel guy believes, he's getting all his information from that Bowen person. This whole thing just sounds wrong."

"I agree. There's quite a bit we don't know about all of this. Anything we do could be right or wrong... I wish Amhal was here. He always knew what to do. Or maybe Codo..."

"So what do we do now?" *Virgo looked to Josiah for an answer as did the rest of the group.*

*Perfect Light sighed. As much as he enjoyed the adventures, he was getting tired of all this. Why couldn't anything ever be simple? Why did he always have to choose between such difficult paths? Things sure were easier back in the beginning...* "We do the only thing we can do. We keep restoring the world and looking for a way to save Silver and Neo. Sooner or later we'll get to the bottom of this. I'm sure of it. For now, let's just destroy this shrine." *He pressed a hidden switch, opening a passage in the wall, and stepped inside.*

Shauni walked up to Josiah, it was as if she knew what he was thinking

"We have a hard path to walk, so lets just walk the path we know a little, I think we should keep on as we are, no point in worrying about all this now....lets atleast restore this place to normal...then discuse it"

They all went down the hall to the real dark shrine, there was no sighn of Emiel

A moment later and Perfect Light had destryed the shrine and the area began to purify
"Lets just hope someone here can tell us the truth...."

*As Josiah unmerged there was a bright flash. He picked up Raydion's card to discover that it had changed. Thinking back, it seemed like the dark energy helped monster reach nova level...* "Rayzion..." *He studied the card then joined the others as the purication completed.*
