I, Pikachu127, most hated PVF Member, will be hated even more when you hear my confession. I have created a new account. Nintendoultrafan. The newest member is me. I wanted to be a part of the community, but I was just too screwed to start over again, unless I was a new member.

Hurl inults at me. I will appreciate them.

Hate me even more. I'll appreciate that as well.

I really am a nice person. You just don't see it in this account. You can see it in my Ninten account. You just don't understand what it's like to be an outcast, one who virtually has no friends. I wanted to be happy on these forums.

I was planning on saying that the spriting style seemed similar to yours.

But creating a new account, at least in my opinion, was unnecessary. Change can still happen in you, and you can still be one person. If everybody hates you so much then just say "Sorry", get over it, you are claiming that you are aware of your "faults", correct those "faults" if you know what they are, and keep going.

There are more outcasts around you, but they don't wish to say so. So don't just assume that you are the only lonely person here.

Yeah I had kind of predicted it once you put that avatar up. If you're going to try to pretend to be someone else, at least do it well next time, huh?

When I said to start over, I did not mean to do it like that. This was... just dumb. See, the thing is, "Nintendoultrafan" still annoyed me. No matter what name you use, it's still you. People won't treat you differently if you act the same. Why it worked for WS is because he had learned something. It's not like that's something that just happens spontaneously. The N00b and Gar are my favorite examples. Both joined at around the same time, both... really got under my skin. Now, I'm not much one for sugar-coating things. So I told them they were annoying. They didn't run away or create new usernames, they just kinda... dealt with it. And they learned how this forum works over time, and gradually started to find their place. And then they were some of the biggest contributors and best posters around. Hence the forum-related awards they've won.

You're no different from them, you're just dwelling to much on the criticism and not thinking about the future.

I said to forget about the reputation thing and move forward, didn't I? Way to do the opposite.

To be fair, he created NintendoUltraFan before the whole discussion in Metal's advice thread. And Pikachu, I'm glad you made this thread instead of forcing me to do it.

In response to a combination of this thread and the PM you sent you, I have this to say.

Yes, this was the completely wrong way to go about things. It was a bad idea all around. When WS changed his name to Metal, it wasn't the new name that made us treat him differently (and he just got a name change on his current account and was completely open about it). As Silver said, it's because he'd learned from his past mistakes and made a real effort to change. If you want to improve your reputation here, the way to do it isn't through a new account, it's by listening when people say you're doing something wrong, considering their advice, and working to improve. Because of this, changing your screen name won't really change the way people react to you. At least not unless you're a good enough actor to pull off a believable fake persona that's significantly different than your real one (something you failed to do since some people guessed your real identity).

Also as Silver said (darn Silver posting first and beating me to all the good points), you're dwelling too much on criticism. You said in your PM to me that your originally account was screwed ever since you double posted once in the Ask the Cast Thread. That couldn't be further from the truth. We didn't all just start disliking you because you double posted once. Nearly everyone here made occasional mistakes (or in some cases a lot of mistakes) when they first joined and no one hated them for it (though we do get annoyed and frustrated at times). We just told them what they were doing wrong so they could learn from those mistakes and do better in the future. We're not attacking or mocking you when we correct mistakes, we're trying to help you learn.

Even now we don't all hate you like you seem to think. If you want to stay you can (provided you drop the second account) but you've got to stop obsessing over your reputation, stop assuming we all hate you whenever you make a mistake, and just take our advice and contructive criticism for what it is and learn from it, rather than assuming that every single mistake you make does some sort of irrepairable damage to your reputation. Yeah you've made a lot of mistakes but, to be honest, you've annoyed me far less than Metal used to (no offense, Metal) but he was able to turn things around and you can too if you really try.

Anywho, Silver practically said everything I wanted to say. Though I never knew about Marley or Gar doing stuff like that, I always thought of them as good members from the beginning. But that's beside the point.

You see, doing stuff like that is the kind of stuff that ticks me off. No, not making a new account, although that was rather juvenile. Your opening statement for your little confession... you introduce yourself as the "most hated PVF member". I don't know if you're going for sympathy there, or something, but it just makes you look foolish no matter WHAT you're intending. Don't pretend to know the thoughts of other forum members. I mean, if you took a poll or something, that's another story, but, honestly... just stating that when you have no basis of fact is just foolish.

You were NOT "too screwed to start over again". Do you really think so little of us that, once you start to make ammends, we'll still hold all past misgivings against you? And do you also think so little of us that a simple change in name will change a person? As was aformentioned, WS's name change worked because he got better once he became MH. He doesn't irk me anymore, which is nice. A good friend of mine changed his name because he wanted to turn over a new leaf... he ended up actually getting it leagally changed, and he's a better kid now (albeit still kind of struggling with some stuff, but he's better about it, and less obnoxious about it). The change in letters means nothing, it's just kind of a gesture... the important part is changing the obnoxiousness... Name. Means. Nothing.

Don't obsess over your reputation... it kind of only makes things worse. There are probably a few forum members that don't like me all too much 'cos I can be blunt and I like to argue my points. Do I care? No, not really. One small thing wrong... you think that does you in? Once again... do you really think so little of us that we're going to hold one small thing against you forever? Now that's just stupid. If everyone did that, then absolutely NO ONE would get along, yeah?

Also... I pretty much figured it out with the avatar, too. I actually was like "Oh, Pikachu got a new ava--oh wait, that says Ninten, doesn't it?" and even after that every time I saw the avvie I first thought it was Pikachu... yeah, I don't think a career that involves going undercover is in store for you...

I might have been repetative, didn't really check to see if my post lined up with Josiah's and Silver's, just kind of read them over once and remembered a few things. I like to get my piece out anyway, thankyouverymuch.

Metal I don't think you are annoying, and neither is Pikachu127. I liked having you on the forum,everyone has problems and stuff about them they don't like but you didn't have to make another account just talk about it can help. I mean I can't spell really good and sometimes I say things that don't make sense,but then I try harder. When I first came here my spelling was very very bad and Silver (<I spelled it right this time) told me. So I worked on it harder and I've been told I've made quite a improvement. So next time you feel left out speck up there are a lot of really nice people on here that love you for who you are and they are the only ones you should worry about.

You should take that as a compliment, WS. It's pretty much a fact that you were just about the most annoying member ever when you first joined, but you've come a long way. You've not only learned to get along with everyone else well, you've found a real, positive role in the community. You're helping everyone else out, and you've inspired all of us to join in, too. I mean really, we spend very little time actually discussing Pebble Version here, so we may as well be productive, right? Advice threads like that actually make spending time here worth-while. So... um... good job. At being cool. And stuff.

And Kako too has certainly improved a lot. You're using a spell checker, right? It does make a big difference. There's still a misused word here and there, though, which is something that spell-checking can't fix ("speck" for "speak", for example). Still something to work on, but your posts are much clearer now. I could understand what you meant there because the rest of the post was well organized. That... wasn't always the case. This isn't quite the area of Pikachu's problems so this seems a little off-topic, but... Kako is another example of a member who's grown a lot here.

We generally seem to have that effect. I guess it's because we're so blunt and we don't put up with annoying crap. If you do something stupid we tell you to your face, and you can either leave or you can deal with it. If you leave, it's your loss. If you deal with it, you'll find out that we're a pretty cool bunch of nerds and you can learn a thing or two here. And we also will ignore anything stupid you did before if you don't just run away from it.

Melodramatic much? I thought something seemed similar, besides the art style. Like everyone else has pretty much stated, we don't hate you. Get irritated by you occasionally? yes. hate you? no. Besides hate is such a strong word, hence why I don't use it.

There really no point in restating what everyone else has said since I agree with them. As for me, I never hated you, I did get irritated at times because half the time when I came across one of your posts it was either pointless or you arguing or trying to pick an argument with someone else (Generally Josiah or Silver). And you haven't irritated me as much as some other members, but over time they've grown and learnt from past mistakes and so have I. Still am. Life is a lesson. And you can either learn from your mistakes and move on, or wallow in self pity. Chances are no ones going to help you improve if you're not willing to help yourself in the first place... and I just realized how corny I sound.

So you've confessed, pretty much everyone's told you what they think, and I'm sure those who haven't said anything don't see a need to.

Now what, are you going to learn from this and move on?
Or are you going to continue assuming we all hate you?

Ah-wawawawa...Everyone's said basically what I wanted to say...but I think Kaida's thinking is closer to mine. I never really hated you, I sometimes thought you were slightly annoying...sometimes I really didn't care (but that would be my problem), but still, you are part of our little community here. We all must move on if we mess up. Don't let old mistakes haunt you. If you do, you'll end up making even worse mistakes then before. Trust me, I know what that feels like. (again, my problem, not yours)

And, just so you know, I find it impossible to really hate people. I mean yeah, I avoid some, I think some can be annoying, but I never hate them, I just can't find it in me to.

So...

No, I will not, can not hate you.

No, I will not bully you.

No, I will not be as sappy as possible.

No, I will not write an entire poem describing my thoughts about you.

...Well, this has been an interesting development.

Look, Pikachu, buddy... I'm not angry. Just a bit dissappointed. I thought you could do better than this. I believe you still can. I've also done plenty of stupid crap I regret. (*coughMonsterRancherRPcough.*) The point is I didn't let this ruin my Forums experience. I kept posting and learning until I became the articulate, witty, award-winning poster that I am today.

Damn, I just realized I've been here for three-and-a-half years. I was 13 when I joined. I'm 17 now. Blarg, I'm going off topic... Erm... I don't think I can say anything else that hasn't already been said. Just don't leave. I've seen way too many people already leave after only a few months.

Seriously, thanks to everybody. I'd like to remain on these forums.

I tend to try to bury the past behind me. When it comes up, I try to change the topic and forget about it. This will be permanently etched in my mind.

I love you all (almost all, that is, but still a majority). I'd like to put this event behind me and enjoy being part of the community.

And to explain my downhill travel to creating Ninten....

I first double posted, which embarrased me like heck.
I got into a flame war (actually, two) with Metal. No hard feelings. Glad that you didn't concoct some post that would probably drive me to commit suicide.
Anger at nearly everybody for critisizing me. I can now take it, though, hopefully, as long as it isn't to harsh.
The arrival of several new members.
And lastly, my disastrous hiatus. I really am eager to bury that deep.
