Heso! This is page number 666... Kuso! *Pulls a Cheesey and hides*
In other news, I've spent basically all of today and yesterday watching Death Note because the anime geek I met at Camp Calvary told me to. And it's... meh. It's interesting and all, but my favorite characters keep dying! And one of them's seiyuu was Kappei Yamaguchi - Usopp - for which I will never forgive the series. Heh heh... I identified it as Kappei-san on my own, then confirmed it via wikipedia and the end credits. I also noticed Zoro and Franky's seiyuu in there... you know you're a geek when you can recognize most voice actors in Japanese AND English.
So yeah. Death Note kills all the good characters, has an evil protagonist, and the second opening and ending are the worst songs I've ever heard but it's addicting none the less. More than anything, I need something to fill the void of One Piece until August 20th. And Death Note would be doing a much better job of that if they hadn't killed Kappei/Usopp.

"Irregardless" and "Over exaggerated" are NEVER CORRECT EVER because they are redundant
Regardless means "without regard", and adding "ir" on the front actually makes it a double negative; exaggerate means "to overstate" so you're literally saying "over overstate."
Example: I can not exaggerate the importance of this fact enough, regardless of how often people ignore it.

Apparently, it's a symbol of the devil. I'm nonreligious, so I wouldn't know. That is, if my entire school didn't go nuts June 6, 2006...

Hi!
No clue what happened. If you need computer help it helps to tell what program you use (Firefox, IE, Opera), if anything odd happened other than that, before hand or afterwords, and I'm going to guess you use Windows XP.
Well, you can find them again... Or you could go to the troubleshooting or contact section of your internet browser's website and find out from the professionals.
In other news, band camp's done. No more 8 to 8, code orange, 110 degree days!
Oh noes! 666. That seems like a rather arbitrary number to be evil.

Yep, people started hugging each other and freaking out and wondering if the world was going to end. It was rather amusing to watch. And during seventh period, the clock mysteriously sped up and went from 2-something to six o'clock. People REALLY got freaked out then.Shadowman wrote:Your school went nuts on June 6 last year?
I'm quite aware of that. Thanks for telling me. I think I've already been told about a hundred times. One friend even stopped what she was doing in PE and 'prayed for my soul' way back in eighth grade.Gardialvoir wrote:mandi, according to my religion(roman catholic), you will, 100% garentiied, rot in heck(not reall, name, i just don't want to upset cheesy) because you are nonreligious. dont blame me, blame the bible.
Konbanwa. We got this little pot with a venus flytrap plant. My mom just fed it a half-dead fly. XD

Heso! Your friends must be crazier than Light. There aren't many fights, but that does NOT mean there isn't much excitement. All it takes is a little suspension of disbelief to make it one of the most exciting animes there is... and I would I'd say it's worth watching, but there are still countless other animes I'd recommend over it. I suppose I don't even need to say the words "One Piece and Fullmetal Alchemist," do I?Shans wrote:Hi! Silver, is death note worth watching, my friends said it ain't really worth watching cause there isn't much excitement.
Hmm... I don't want this to turn into a religious debate, on account of there was already enoug fighting over religion done in old-timey Europe, but I do want to add my two cents here... Gar? Shut up. Now, I'm a Christian. I just came from Camp Calvary, if that's not any indication... but I really hate cultish statements like that one. What's supposed to set Christianity apart from the rest of the world's religions is the theme of "God loves everyone!" - That no one is perfect but everyone's got some good in them. Telling people they're going to rot in-OMGcensored-isn't going to get that point across. That's just using guilt and fear to make people believe what you believe, and it doesn't work. The pastor at Camp Calvary taught me that. He tried to use guilt and fear to make people believe what he believed. I couldn't stand the guy.Gar wrote:I, can only post here while I am holding my holy cross, so I can olny type with one hand. in other news, school starts for me this monday, and i hope i know what i have gotten my self into. i have english, biology, band, geometry, laten, and health science (which is not the sme as wellness). mandi, according to my religion(roman catholic), you will, 100% garentiied, rot in heck(not reall, name, i just don't want to upset cheesy) because you are nonreligious. dont blame me, blame the bible.
...Gah! What am I saying?! This is like, a serious post. Darn you, Death Note! I need to go watch One Piece. I don't CARE if I've already seen episode 318 four times! I must watch it AGAIN!

Wow, Silver. Good point. Never really got around to hearing about the "God Loves Everyone" bit 'cause most people trying to convert me just stopped at my rotting in a certain burning pit for all eternity. Fun stuff.

Wow, why does all of the stuff I need to say get said before me when I'm not around?Silver wrote:Hmm... Gar....bleh. That's it. Just, bleh. There's NO reason for you to say what you said, except for trying to start a religous debate {which is really, really stupid.}
What, did you think Mandi would just be like, "Oh, I'll rot in hell? Well, I'd best get up and convert then!" Yeah, no. Like Silver, I ain't no "blasphemer" or whatever, but, argh...I'm almost too annoyed for words.
Ok, I have to say this about religous arguements.
It's two people, in a room, saying, "I'm right!"
"No, I'm right!"
"NO, I'M RIGHT!" And there's no resolution. So just keep it to yourself, dude. We don't need any flamewars 'round these parts.
